When God saw by their actions that they had turned from their evil ways, he relented and did not inflict upon them the punishment that he had threatened. Jonah 3:10	When God saw their deeds, that they turned from their evil way, then God relented of the disaster which He had declared He would bring on them. Then he went on, “It is what comes out of a person that defiles. For from within, from the human heart, come evil thoughts, unchastity, theft, murder, adultery, avarice, malice, deceit, indecency, envy, slander, arrogance, and folly. Therefore, take care to live as intelligent people, and do not be like those who are senseless. Make the most of the present time, for this is a wicked age.
