Even if the fig tree does not blossom, And there is no fruit on the vines, If the yield of the olive fails, And the fields produce no food, Even if the flock disappears from the fold, And there are no cattle in the stalls, Yet I will triumph in the Lord, I will rejoice in the God of my salvation.Though the fig tree does not blossom, and no fruit is on the vines; though the produce of the olive fails and the fields yield no food; though the flock is cut off from the fold and there is no herd in the stalls, yet I will rejoice in the Lord; I will exult in the God of my salvation.
In the same way, faith also, if it has no works, is dead, being by itself.So faith by itself, if it has no works, is dead.
Be on the alert, stand firm in the faith, act like men, be strong.Keep alert, stand firm in your faith, be courageous, be strong.

Behold, as for the impudent one, His soul is not right within him; But the righteous one will live by his faith.Look at the proud! Their spirit is not right in them, but the righteous live by their faith.

If I have the gift of prophecy and know all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have all faith so as to remove mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing.And if I have prophetic powers, and understand all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have all faith, so as to remove mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing.
