- Yet those who wait for the Lord
Will gain new strength;
They will mount up with wings like eagles,
They will run and not get tired,
They will walk and not become weary. - For I give plenty of water to the weary ones, and refresh everyone who languishes.
- He gives strength to the weary,
And to the one who lacks might He increases power. - Do you not know? Have you not heard?
The Everlasting God, the Lord, the Creator of the ends of the earth
Does not become weary or tired.
His understanding is unsearchable. - Therefore we do not lose heart, but though our outer person is decaying, yet our inner person is being renewed day by day.

Your faithfulness, Lord, will support me. - And faithfulness is Yours, Lord,
For You reward a person according to his work. - Give thanks to the Lord, for He is good;
For His faithfulness is everlasting. - Behold, the eye of the Lord is on those who fear Him,
On those who wait for His faithfulness. - Hear my prayer, Lord,
Listen to my pleadings!
Answer me in Your faithfulness, in Your righteousness! - Faithful is He who calls you, and He also will do it.

‘I will not be angry forever.’ - If we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous, so that He will forgive us our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
- For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith; as it is written: “But the righteous one will live by faith.”
- I have not failed the command of His lips;
I have treasured the words of His mouth more than my necessary food. - For we walk by faith, not by sight.
- Now behold, today I am going the way of all the earth, and you know in all your hearts and in all your souls that not one word of all the good words which the Lord your God spoke concerning you has failed; they all have been fulfilled for you, not one of them has failed.
- My flesh and my heart may fail,
But God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever. - Knowing that the testing of your faith produces endurance.
- Test yourselves to see if you are in the faith; examine yourselves! Or do you not recognize this about yourselves, that Jesus Christ is in you—unless indeed you fail the test?
- So faith comes from hearing, and hearing by the word of Christ.
- In the same way, faith also, if it has no works, is dead, being by itself.
