Bible Verses about Truth

  • One who walks with integrity, practices righteousness,
    And speaks truth in his heart.
    He does not slander with his tongue,
    Nor do evil to his neighbor,
    Nor bring shame on his friend.
  • Little children, let’s not love with word or with tongue, but in deed and truth.
  • I have no greater joy than this, to hear of my children walking in the truth.
  • So Jesus was saying to those Jews who had believed Him, “If you continue in My word, then you are truly My disciples; and you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.”
  • If we say that we have fellowship with Him and yet walk in the darkness, we lie and do not practice the truth.
  • Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence and if anything worthy of praise, think about these things.
  • Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father except through Me.”
  • But speaking the truth in love, we are to grow up in all aspects into Him who is the head, that is, Christ.
  • Lead me in Your truth and teach me,
    For You are the God of my salvation;
    For You I wait all the day.
  • Be diligent to present yourself approved to God as a worker who does not need to be ashamed, accurately handling the word of truth.
  • The lips of the righteous know what is acceptable,
    But the mouth of the wicked, what is perverted.
  • Keep your tongue from evil
    And your lips from speaking deceit.
  • Now faith is the certainty of things hoped for, a proof of things not seen.
  • Every word of God is pure;
    He is a shield to those who take refuge in Him.
  • I have chosen the faithful way;
    I have placed Your judgments before me.
  • God is spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth.
  • But above all, my brothers and sisters, do not swear, either by heaven or by earth or with any other oath; but your yes is to be yes, and your no, no, so that you do not fall under judgment.
  • Lying lips are an abomination to the Lord,
    But those who deal faithfully are His delight.
  • And we know that the Son of God has come, and has given us understanding so that we may know Him who is true; and we are in Him who is true, in His Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God and eternal life.
  • In the exercise of His will He gave us birth by the word of truth, so that we would be a kind of first fruits among His creatures.
  • But there is nothing covered up that will not be revealed, and hidden that will not be known.
  • And as for you, the anointing which you received from Him remains in you, and you have no need for anyone to teach you; but as His anointing teaches you about all things, and is true and is not a lie, and just as it has taught you, you remain in Him.
  • Rid yourself of a deceitful mouth
    And keep devious speech far from you.
  • For the word of the Lord is right,
    And all His work is done in faithfulness.
  • It does not rejoice in unrighteousness, but rejoices with the truth; it keeps every confidence, it believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.

And the Word became flesh, and dwelt among us; and we saw His glory, glory as of the only Son from the Father, full of grace and truth.
