- But those who wait for Yahweh will renew their strength.
They will mount up with wings like eagles.
They will run, and not be weary.
They will walk, and not faint. - Haven’t you known?
Haven’t you heard?
The everlasting God, Yahweh,
the Creator of the ends of the earth, doesn’t faint.
He isn’t weary.
His understanding is unsearchable. - For I have satiated the weary soul, and I have replenished every sorrowful soul.
- He gives power to the weak.
He increases the strength of him who has no might. - Therefore we don’t faint, but though our outward person is decaying, yet our inward person is renewed day by day.
- To him who is ready to faint, kindness should be shown from his friend;
even to him who forsakes the fear of the Almighty. - Let’s not be weary in doing good, for we will reap in due season if we don’t give up.
- God, you are my God.
I will earnestly seek you.
My soul thirsts for you.
My flesh longs for you,
in a dry and weary land, where there is no water. - I am still confident of this:
I will see the goodness of Yahweh in the land of the living.
As for God, his way is perfect.
Yahweh’s word is tried.
He is a shield to all those who take refuge in him. For the grace of God has appeared, bringing salvation to all men, instructing us to the intent that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we would live soberly, righteously, and godly in this present age.Next verse! With image
