- You are all beautiful, my love.
There is no spot in you. - Let your beauty come not from the outward adorning of braiding your hair, and of wearing gold ornaments or of putting on fine clothing, but from the hidden person of the heart, in the incorruptible adornment of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is very precious in God’s sight.
- Charm is deceitful, and beauty is vain;
but a woman who fears Yahweh, she shall be praised. - Arise, shine; for your light has come,
and Yahweh’s glory has risen on you! - For you formed my inmost being.
You knit me together in my mother’s womb.
I will give thanks to you,
for I am fearfully and wonderfully made.
Your works are wonderful.
My soul knows that very well. - But Yahweh said to Samuel, “Don’t look on his face, or on the height of his stature, because I have rejected him; for I don’t see as man sees. For man looks at the outward appearance, but Yahweh looks at the heart.”
- Therefore we don’t faint, but though our outward person is decaying, yet our inward person is renewed day by day.
- In the same way, that women also adorn themselves in decent clothing, with modesty and propriety, not with braided hair, gold, pearls, or expensive clothing, but with good works, which is appropriate for women professing godliness.
- The grass withers,
the flower fades;
but the word of our God stands forever. - For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared before that we would walk in them.
- Therefore I tell you, don’t be anxious for your life: what you will eat, or what you will drink; nor yet for your body, what you will wear. Isn’t life more than food, and the body more than clothing?
- God created man in his own image. In God’s image he created him; male and female he created them.
Who is this King of glory?
Yahweh of Armies is the King of glory! Selah. Therefore I take pleasure in weaknesses, in injuries, in necessities, in persecutions, and in distresses, for Christ’s sake. For when I am weak, then am I strong.Next verse!With image
