Bible Verses about Food
- For he satisfies the longing soul.
He fills the hungry soul with good. - Jesus said to them, “I am the bread of life. Whoever comes to me will not be hungry, and whoever believes in me will never be thirsty.”
- Whether therefore you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God.
- Don’t let him who eats despise him who doesn’t eat. Don’t let him who doesn’t eat judge him who eats, for God has accepted him.

- For we brought nothing into the world, and we certainly can’t carry anything out. But having food and clothing, we will be content with that.
- Therefore I tell you, don’t be anxious for your life: what you will eat, or what you will drink; nor yet for your body, what you will wear. Isn’t life more than food, and the body more than clothing?
- He took the five loaves and the two fish, and looking up to the sky, he blessed them, broke them, and gave them to the disciples to set before the multitude. They ate and were all filled. They gathered up twelve baskets of broken pieces that were left over.

sweet to the soul, and health to the bones. - Day by day, continuing steadfastly with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread at home, they took their food with gladness and singleness of heart, praising God and having favor with all the people. The Lord added to the assembly day by day those who were being saved.
- Now may he who supplies seed to the sower and bread for food, supply and multiply your seed for sowing, and increase the fruits of your righteousness.

for they shall be filled. - As newborn babies, long for the pure spiritual milk, that with it you may grow.
- But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well.
- He humbled you, allowed you to be hungry, and fed you with manna, which you didn’t know, neither did your fathers know, that he might teach you that man does not live by bread only, but man lives by every word that proceeds out of Yahweh’s mouth.
