Fill me with joy (4/4)

But consider the joy of those corrected by God! Do not despise the discipline of the Almighty when you sin.How happy is the one whom God reproves; therefore do not despise the discipline of the Almighty.
That is why I can never stop praising you; I declare your glory all day long.My mouth is filled with your praise, and with your glory all day long.
One day when the crowds were being baptized, Jesus himself was baptized. As he was praying, the heavens opened, and the Holy Spirit, in bodily form, descended on him like a dove. And a voice from heaven said, “You are my dearly loved Son, and you bring me great joy.”Now when all the people were baptized, and when Jesus also had been baptized and was praying, the heaven was opened, and the Holy Spirit descended upon him in bodily form like a dove. And a voice came from heaven, “You are my Son, the Beloved; with you I am well pleased.”
God blesses those who hunger and thirst for justice, for they will be satisfied.Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they will be filled.
Don’t team up with those who are unbelievers. How can righteousness be a partner with wickedness? How can light live with darkness?Do not be mismatched with unbelievers. For what partnership is there between righteousness and lawlessness? Or what fellowship is there between light and darkness?
My old self has been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me. So I live in this earthly body by trusting in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.And it is no longer I who live, but it is Christ who lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.
Listen, O Israel! The Lord is our God, the Lord alone. And you must love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, and all your strength.Hear, O Israel: The Lord is our God, the Lord alone. Better to have little, with fear for the Lord, than to have great treasure and inner turmoil.Better is a little with the fear of the Lord than great treasure and trouble with it.
Walk with the wise and become wise; associate with fools and get in trouble.Whoever walks with the wise becomes wise, but the companion of fools suffers harm.
Hear my prayer, O Lord; listen to my plea! Answer me because you are faithful and righteous.Hear my prayer, O Lord; give ear to my supplications in your faithfulness; answer me in your righteousness.

And after selling it, the money was also yours to give away. How could you do a thing like this? You weren’t lying to us but to God!”“Ananias,” Peter asked, “why has Satan filled your heart to lie to the Holy Spirit and to keep back part of the proceeds of the land? While it remained unsold, did it not remain your own? And after it was sold, were not the proceeds at your disposal? How is it that you have contrived this deed in your heart? You did not lie to us but to God!”

So we can say with confidence, “The Lord is my helper, so I will have no fear. What can mere people do to me?”So we can say with confidence, “The Lord is my helper; I will not be afraid. What can anyone do to me?”

To the faithful you show yourself faithful; to those with integrity you show integrity.With the loyal you show yourself loyal; with the blameless you show yourself blameless.
