Adulterers! Do you not know that friendship with the world is enmity with God? Therefore whoever wishes to be a friend of the world becomes an enemy of God.Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God.

God gives the desolate a home to live in; he leads out the prisoners to prosperity, but the rebellious live in a parched land.God setteth the solitary in families: he bringeth out those which are bound with chains: but the rebellious dwell in a dry land.
