Fully rely on God (2/4)

For, “Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved.”For “Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.”
God abides in those who confess that Jesus is the Son of God, and they abide in God.Whoever confesses that Jesus is the Son of God, God remains in him, and he in God.
My soul thirsts for God, for the living God. When shall I come and behold the face of God?My soul thirsts for God, for the living God; When shall I come and appear before God?
Then everyone who calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved. And it shall be that everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.
All scripture is inspired by God and is useful for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, so that everyone who belongs to God may be proficient, equipped for every good work. All Scripture is inspired by God and beneficial for teaching, for rebuke, for correction, for training in righteousness; so that the man or woman of God may be fully capable, equipped for every good work.
You are the light of the world. A city built on a hill cannot be hid.You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden.
Now he was teaching in one of the synagogues on the sabbath. And just then there appeared a woman with a spirit that had crippled her for eighteen years. She was bent over and was quite unable to stand up straight. When Jesus saw her, he called her over and said, “Woman, you are set free from your ailment.” When he laid his hands on her, immediately she stood up straight and began praising God. But the leader of the synagogue, indignant because Jesus had cured on the sabbath, kept saying to the crowd, “There are six days on which work ought to be done; come on those days and be cured, and not on the sabbath day.” But the Lord answered him and said, “You hypocrites! Does not each of you on the sabbath untie his ox or his donkey from the manger, and lead it away to give it water? And ought not this woman, a daughter of Abraham whom Satan bound for eighteen long years, be set free from this bondage on the sabbath day?” When he said this, all his opponents were put to shame; and the entire crowd was rejoicing at all the wonderful things that he was doing. Now Jesus was teaching in one of the synagogues on the Sabbath. And there was a woman who for eighteen years had had a sickness caused by a spirit; and she was bent over double, and could not straighten up at all. When Jesus saw her, He called her over and said to her, “Woman, you are freed from your sickness.” And He laid His hands on her; and immediately she stood up straight again, and began glorifying God. But the synagogue leader, indignant because Jesus had healed on the Sabbath, began saying to the crowd in response, “There are six days during which work should be done; so come during them and get healed, and not on the Sabbath day.” But the Lord answered him and said, “You hypocrites, does each of you on the Sabbath not untie his ox or donkey from the stall and lead it away to water it? And this woman, a daughter of Abraham as she is, whom Satan has bound for eighteen long years, should she not have been released from this restraint on the Sabbath day?” And as He said this, all His opponents were being humiliated; and the entire crowd was rejoicing over all the glorious things being done by Him.
I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven, and whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven.I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven; and whatever you bind on earth shall have been bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth shall have been loosed in heaven.
Whoever does not love does not know God, for God is love. The one who does not love does not know God, because God is love.
Stand therefore, and fasten the belt of truth around your waist, and put on the breastplate of righteousness. As shoes for your feet put on whatever will make you ready to proclaim the gospel of peace. With all of these, take the shield of faith, with which you will be able to quench all the flaming arrows of the evil one.Stand firm therefore, having belted your waist with truth, and having put on the breastplate of righteousness, and having strapped on your feet the preparation of the gospel of peace; in addition to all, taking up the shield of faith with which you will be able to extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one.
Cast all your anxiety on him, because he cares for you.Having cast all your anxiety on Him, because He cares about you.
But the Lord said to Samuel, “Do not look on his appearance or on the height of his stature, because I have rejected him; for the Lord does not see as mortals see; they look on the outward appearance, but the Lord looks on the heart.”But the Lord said to Samuel, “Do not look at his appearance or at the height of his stature, because I have rejected him; for God does not see as man sees, since man looks at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart.”
And as I began to speak, the Holy Spirit fell upon them just as it had upon us at the beginning. And as I began to speak, the Holy Spirit fell upon them just as He did upon us at the beginning.
Therefore let us go on toward perfection, leaving behind the basic teaching about Christ, and not laying again the foundation: repentance from dead works and faith toward God, instruction about baptisms, laying on of hands, resurrection of the dead, and eternal judgment. Therefore leaving the elementary teaching about the Christ, let us press on to maturity, not laying again a foundation of repentance from dead works and of faith toward God, of instruction about washings and laying on of hands, and about the resurrection of the dead and eternal judgment.
May my teaching drop like the rain, my speech condense like the dew; like gentle rain on grass, like showers on new growth.May my teaching drip as the rain, My speech trickle as the dew, As droplets on the fresh grass, And as the showers on the vegetation.
Therefore take up the whole armor of God, so that you may be able to withstand on that evil day, and having done everything, to stand firm. Therefore, take up the full armor of God, so that you will be able to resist on the evil day, and having done everything, to stand firm.
For who is God except the Lord? And who is a rock besides our God?For who is God, but the Lord? And who is a rock, except our God?
Until a spirit from on high is poured out on us, and the wilderness becomes a fruitful field, and the fruitful field is deemed a forest.Until the Spirit is poured out upon us from on high, And the wilderness becomes a fertile field, And the fertile field is considered as a forest.
For all who are led by the Spirit of God are children of God.For all who are being led by the Spirit of God, these are sons and daughters of God.
With the Lord on my side I do not fear. What can mortals do to me?The Lord is for me; I will not fear; What can man do to me?
For who is God, but the Lord? And who is a rock, except our God?For who is God, except the Lord? And who is a rock, except our God?
On hearing this, they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus. When Paul had laid his hands on them, the Holy Spirit came upon them, and they spoke in tongues and prophesied. When they heard this, they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus. And when Paul had laid hands upon them, the Holy Spirit came on them and they began speaking with tongues and prophesying.
Even before a word is on my tongue, O Lord, you know it completely.Even before there is a word on my tongue, Behold, Lord, You know it all.
Everyone then who hears these words of mine and acts on them will be like a wise man who built his house on rock. Therefore, everyone who hears these words of Mine, and acts on them, will be like a wise man who built his house on the rock.
And now why do you delay? Get up, be baptized, and have your sins washed away, calling on his name. Now why do you delay? Get up and be baptized, and wash away your sins by calling on His name.
