Work hard so you can present yourself to God and receive his approval. No one has ever seen God. But the unique One, who is himself God, is near to the Father’s heart. He has revealed God to us. John 1:18	No one has ever seen God. It is God the only Son, who is close to the Father's heart, who has made him known. Jesus Father nearness
So you must remain faithful to what you have been taught from the beginning. If you do, you will remain in fellowship with the Son and with the Father. 1 John 2:24	Let what you heard from the beginning abide in you. See how very much our Father loves us, for he calls us his children, and that is what we are! For the world offers only a craving for physical pleasure, a craving for everything we see, and pride in our achievements and possessions. I am the true grapevine, and my Father is the gardener. He cuts off every branch of mine that doesn’t produce fruit, and he prunes the branches that do bear fruit so they will produce even more.

I am the true vine, and my Father is the vinegrower. He removes every branch in me that bears no fruit. Every branch that bears fruit he prunes to make it bear more fruit.
