For by one offering He has perfected for all time those who are sanctified. | For by that one offering he forever made perfect those who are being made holy. |
Give thanks to the Lord, for He is good; For His faithfulness is everlasting. | Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good! His faithful love endures forever. |

When He had made purification of sins, He sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high. | The Son radiates God’s own glory and expresses the very character of God, and he sustains everything by the mighty power of his command. When he had cleansed us from our sins, he sat down in the place of honor at the right hand of the majestic God in heaven. |
Yet as for me, I know that my Redeemer lives, And at the last, He will take His stand on the earth. | But as for me, I know that my Redeemer lives, and he will stand upon the earth at last. |

He has made everything appropriate in its time. He has also set eternity in their heart, without the possibility that mankind will find out the work which God has done from the beginning even to the end. | Yet God has made everything beautiful for its own time. He has planted eternity in the human heart, but even so, people cannot see the whole scope of God’s work from beginning to end. |
The steps of a man are established by the Lord, And He delights in his way. | The Lord directs the steps of the godly. He delights in every detail of their lives. |

Send Lazarus over here to dip the tip of his finger in water and cool my tongue. I am in anguish in these flames.’ |
He will again take pity on us; He will trample on our wrongdoings. Yes, You will cast all their sins Into the depths of the sea. | Once again you will have compassion on us. You will trample our sins under your feet and throw them into the depths of the ocean! |
The Lord is good, A stronghold in the day of trouble, And He knows those who take refuge in Him. | The Lord is good, a strong refuge when trouble comes. He is close to those who trust in him. |
So then, when the Lord Jesus had spoken to them, He was received up into heaven and sat down at the right hand of God. | When the Lord Jesus had finished talking with them, he was taken up into heaven and sat down in the place of honor at God’s right hand. |
For the Lord is our judge, The Lord is our lawgiver, The Lord is our king; He will save us. | For the Lord is our judge, our lawgiver, and our king. He will care for us and save us. |
And He said to them, “Follow Me, and I will make you fishers of people.” | Jesus called out to them, “Come, follow me, and I will show you how to fish for people!” |
Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord, The people He has chosen for His own inheritance. | What joy for the nation whose God is the Lord, whose people he has chosen as his inheritance. |
