So faith comes from hearing, that is, hearing the Good News about Christ. | So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. |
God detests the prayers of a person who ignores the law. | One who turns away his ear from hearing the law, Even his prayer is an abomination. |

I ask you again, does God give you the Holy Spirit and work miracles among you because you obey the law? Of course not!
