Heart (2/4)

All deeds are right in the sight of the doer, but the Lord weighs the heart.A man’s ways may seem right to him, but the Lord weighs the heart.
Be strong, and let your heart take courage, all you who wait for the Lord.Be strong and courageous in your hearts, all you who place your hope in the Lord.
The sacrifice acceptable to God is a broken spirit; a broken and contrite heart, O God, you will not despise. My sacrifice, O God, is a broken spirit; a contrite and humble heart, O God, you will not spurn.
Teach me your way, O Lord, that I may walk in your truth; give me an undivided heart to revere your name.Teach me your ways, O Lord, so that I may walk in your truth; let me worship your name with an undivided heart.
Before destruction one's heart is haughty, but humility goes before honor.A man is haughty until disaster overtakes him, but humility comes before honors.
The wise of heart will heed commandments, but a babbling fool will come to ruin.A wise man will heed commandments, but a babbling fool will come to grief.
The heart is devious above all else; it is perverse— who can understand it? I the Lord test the mind and search the heart, to give to all according to their ways, according to the fruit of their doings. The heart is more deceitful than any other thing, and it is also perverse. Who can uncover its secrets? I, the Lord, search the heart and probe the mind to reward all according to their conduct and as their deeds deserve.
May he grant you your heart's desire, and fulfill all your plans.May he give you your heart’s desire and grant you success in all your plans.
For one believes with the heart and so is justified, and one confesses with the mouth and so is saved. For one believes in the heart and so is justified, and one confesses with the mouth and so is saved.
Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable to you, O Lord, my rock and my redeemer.Let the words of my mouth and the thoughts of my heart find favor in your sight, O Lord, my Rock and my Redeemer.
He said to him, ‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind.’Jesus said to him, ‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind.’
Though an army encamp against me, my heart shall not fear; though war rise up against me, yet I will be confident.Even if an army encamps against me, my heart will not succumb to fear; even if war breaks out against me, I will not have my trust shaken.
The precepts of the Lord are right, rejoicing the heart; the commandment of the Lord is clear, enlightening the eyes. The precepts of the Lord are right, causing the heart to rejoice. The commands of the Lord are clear, giving light to the eyes.
Go, eat your bread with enjoyment, and drink your wine with a merry heart; for God has long ago approved what you do.Go forth, then. Eat your bread with joy and drink your wine with a cheerful heart, for God long ago approved what you do.
Yet even now, says the Lord, return to me with all your heart, with fasting, with weeping, and with mourning.Yet even now, says the Lord, return to me with all your heart, with fasting, with weeping, and with mourning.
You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind, and with all your strength. You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind, and with all your strength.
From there you will seek the Lord your God, and you will find him if you search after him with all your heart and soul. But if you seek the Lord, your God, and you strive with all your heart and your soul, you will find him there.
Because if you confess with your lips that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. If you confess with your lips, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.
Only fear the Lord, and serve him faithfully with all your heart; for consider what great things he has done for you.Only fear the Lord and serve him faithfully with your whole heart, considering the great things he has done for you.
Take care, brothers and sisters, that none of you may have an evil, unbelieving heart that turns away from the living God.Take care, brethren, that none of you will ever have an evil and unbelieving heart that will cause you to forsake the living God.
Know then in your heart that as a parent disciplines a child so the Lord your God disciplines you. Thus you could understand that the Lord, your God, was disciplining you, just like a father disciplines his son.
My child, be attentive to my words; incline your ear to my sayings. Do not let them escape from your sight; keep them within your heart. My son, concentrate attentively on my words; pay heed to the instructions I pass on to you. Do not let them slip from your mind; keep them forever in your heart.
Search me, O God, and know my heart; test me and know my thoughts. See if there is any wicked way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting.Examine me, O God, and know my heart; test me and understand my thoughts. See if I follow an evil way, and guide me on the way to eternity.
When I fed them, they were satisfied; they were satisfied, and their heart was proud; therefore they forgot me.When I fed them, they were satisfied; when they were satisfied, they became proud of heart and quickly forgot me.
So acknowledge today and take to heart that the Lord is God in heaven above and on the earth beneath; there is no other. So today acknowledge it and take it to heart that the Lord is God in the heavens above and on the earth below. There is no other.
