| Is anyone among you sick? Then he must call for the elders of the church and they are to pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord; and the prayer of faith will restore the one who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up, and if he has committed sins, they will be forgiven him. | Is any sick among you? let him call for the elders of the church; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord: And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up; and if he have committed sins, they shall be forgiven him. |

| Opening his mouth, Peter said: “I most certainly understand now that God is not one to show partiality, but in every nation the one who fears Him and does what is right is acceptable to Him.” | Then Peter opened his mouth, and said, Of a truth I perceive that God is no respecter of persons: But in every nation he that feareth him, and worketh righteousness, is accepted with him. |
| While they were there, the time came for her to give birth. And she gave birth to her firstborn son; and she wrapped Him in cloths, and laid Him in a manger, because there was no room for them in the inn. | And so it was, that, while they were there, the days were accomplished that she should be delivered. And she brought forth her firstborn son, and wrapped him in swaddling clothes, and laid him in a manger; because there was no room for them in the inn. |
| I can do all things through Him who strengthens me. | I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me. |
| But when they saw Him walking on the sea, they thought that it was a ghost, and they cried out; for they all saw Him and were terrified. | For to you it has been granted for Christ’s sake, not only to believe in Him, but also to suffer on His behalf. | For unto you it is given in the behalf of Christ, not only to believe on him, but also to suffer for his sake. |
| Beloved, if our heart does not condemn us, we have confidence before God; and whatever we ask, we receive from Him, because we keep His commandments and do the things that are pleasing in His sight. | Beloved, if our heart condemn us not, then have we confidence toward God. And whatsoever we ask, we receive of him, because we keep his commandments, and do those things that are pleasing in his sight. |
| For God did not send the Son into the world to judge the world, but so that the world might be saved through Him. | For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. |
| And after He had said these things, He was lifted up while they were watching, and a cloud took Him up, out of their sight. | And when he had spoken these things, while they beheld, he was taken up; and a cloud received him out of their sight. |
| As for God, His way is blameless; The word of the Lord is refined; He is a shield to all who take refuge in Him. | As for God, his way is perfect: the word of the Lord is tried: he is a buckler to all those that trust in him. |
| But whoever has worldly goods and sees his brother or sister in need, and closes his heart against him, how does the love of God remain in him? | But whoso hath this world's good, and seeth his brother have need, and shutteth up his bowels of compassion from him, how dwelleth the love of God in him? |
| For in Him we live and move and exist, as even some of your own poets have said, ‘For we also are His descendants.’ | For in him we live, and move, and have our being; as certain also of your own poets have said, For we are also his offspring. |

| Sing to God, sing praises to His name; Exalt Him who rides through the deserts, Whose name is the Lord, and be jubilant before Him. A father of the fatherless and a judge for the widows, Is God in His holy dwelling. | Sing unto God, sing praises to his name: extol him that rideth upon the heavens by his name Jah, and rejoice before him. A father of the fatherless, and a judge of the widows, is God in his holy habitation. |
| This is the confidence which we have before Him, that, if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. | And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he heareth us. |
| The afflictions of the righteous are many, But the Lord rescues him from them all. | Many are the afflictions of the righteous: but the Lord delivereth him out of them all. |
| Only fear the Lord and serve Him in truth with all your heart; for consider what great things He has done for you. | Only fear the Lord, and serve him in truth with all your heart: for consider how great things he hath done for you. |
| Only be very careful to follow the commandment and the Law which Moses the servant of the Lord commanded you, to love the Lord your God and walk in all His ways, and keep His commandments and cling to Him, and serve Him with all your heart and with all your soul. | But take diligent heed to do the commandment and the law, which Moses the servant of the Lord charged you, to love the Lord your God, and to walk in all his ways, and to keep his commandments, and to cleave unto him, and to serve him with all your heart and with all your soul. |
