- When they heard this, they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus. And when Paul had laid hands upon them, the Holy Spirit came on them and they began speaking with tongues and prophesying.
- But make sure your statement is, ‘Yes, yes’ or ‘No, no’; anything beyond these is of evil origin.
- Rest in the Lord and wait patiently for Him;
Do not get upset because of one who is successful in his way,
Because of the person who carries out wicked schemes. - Commit your way to the Lord,
Trust also in Him, and He will do it.
He will bring out your righteousness as the light,
And your judgment as the noonday. - Do not judge, and you will not be judged; and do not condemn, and you will not be condemned; pardon, and you will be pardoned.
- For the Lord loves justice
And does not abandon His godly ones;
They are protected forever,
But the descendants of the wicked will be eliminated. - Better is the little of the righteous
Than the abundance of many wicked.
For the arms of the wicked will be broken,
But the Lord sustains the righteous. - Now I, Nebuchadnezzar, praise, exalt, and honor the King of heaven, for all His works are true and His ways just; and He is able to humble those who walk in pride.
- For from Him, and through Him, and to Him are all things. To Him be the glory forever. Amen.
- The Lord is with you when you are with Him. And if you seek Him, He will let you find Him; but if you abandon Him, He will abandon you.
- The Lord is near to all who call on Him,
To all who call on Him in truth. - The statement is trustworthy:
For if we died with Him, we will also live with Him. - You shall follow the Lord your God and fear Him; and you shall keep His commandments, listen to His voice, serve Him, and cling to Him.
- All things came into being through Him, and apart from Him not even one thing came into being that has come into being.
- If you had known Me, you would have known My Father also; from now on you know Him, and have seen Him.
- Behold, He is coming with the clouds, and every eye will see Him, even those who pierced Him; and all the tribes of the earth will mourn over Him. So it is to be. Amen.
- Jesus answered and said to him, “If anyone loves Me, he will follow My word; and My Father will love him, and We will come to him and make Our dwelling with him.”
- And they stripped Him and put a red cloak on Him. And after twisting together a crown of thorns, they put it on His head, and put a reed in His right hand; and they knelt down before Him and mocked Him, saying, “Hail, King of the Jews!”
- I cried to Him with my mouth,
And He was exalted with my tongue. - And though you have not seen Him, you love Him, and though you do not see Him now, but believe in Him, you greatly rejoice with joy inexpressible and full of glory, obtaining as the outcome of your faith, the salvation of your souls.
- All the prophets testify of Him, that through His name everyone who believes in Him receives forgiveness of sins.
- This is the message we have heard from Him and announce to you, that God is Light, and in Him there is no darkness at all.
- He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him over for us all, how will He not also with Him freely give us all things?
- Seek the Lord while He may be found;
Call upon Him while He is near. - He made Him who knew no sin to be sin in our behalf, so that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.
- My soul, wait in silence for God alone,
For my hope is from Him. - My soul waits in silence for God alone;
From Him comes my salvation. - What is man that You think of him,
And a son of man that You are concerned about him? - A person’s gift makes room for him
And brings him before great people. - Now, little children, remain in Him, so that when He appears, we may have confidence and not draw back from Him in shame at His coming.
- But from there you will seek the Lord your God, and you will find Him if you search for Him with all your heart and all your soul.
- This wretched man cried out, and the Lord heard him,
And saved him out of all his troubles. - Having cast all your anxiety on Him, because He cares about you.
- Then the Lord God said, “It is not good for the man to be alone; I will make him a helper suitable for him.”
- The Lord is my strength and my shield;
My heart trusts in Him, and I am helped;
Therefore my heart triumphs,
And with my song I shall thank Him. - “The Lord is my portion,” says my soul,
“Therefore I wait for Him.” - For the Scripture says, “Whoever believes in Him will not be put to shame.”
- And without faith it is impossible to please Him, for the one who comes to God must believe that He exists, and that He proves to be One who rewards those who seek Him.
