| For I cried out to him for help, praising him as I spoke. | I cried unto him with my mouth, and he was extolled with my tongue. |
| Serve only the Lord your God and fear him alone. Obey his commands, listen to his voice, and cling to him. | Ye shall walk after the Lord your God, and fear him, and keep his commandments, and obey his voice, and ye shall serve him, and cleave unto him. |

| Seek the Lord while you can find him. Call on him now while he is near. | Seek ye the Lord while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near. |
| If you had really known me, you would know who my Father is. From now on, you do know him and have seen him! | If ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also: and from henceforth ye know him, and have seen him. |
| Look! He comes with the clouds of heaven. And everyone will see him— even those who pierced him. And all the nations of the world will mourn for him. Yes! Amen! | Behold, he cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see him, and they also which pierced him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him. Even so, Amen. |
| You love him even though you have never seen him. Though you do not see him now, you trust him; and you rejoice with a glorious, inexpressible joy. The reward for trusting him will be the salvation of your souls. | Whom having not seen, ye love; in whom, though now ye see him not, yet believing, ye rejoice with joy unspeakable and full of glory: Receiving the end of your faith, even the salvation of your souls. |
| But the Lord will redeem those who serve him. No one who takes refuge in him will be condemned. | The Lord redeemeth the soul of his servants: and none of them that trust in him shall be desolate. |
| I wait quietly before God, for my victory comes from him. | Truly my soul waiteth upon God: from him cometh my salvation. |
| But to all who believed him and accepted him, he gave the right to become children of God. | But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name. |
| They stripped him and put a scarlet robe on him. They wove thorn branches into a crown and put it on his head, and they placed a reed stick in his right hand as a scepter. Then they knelt before him in mockery and taunted, “Hail! King of the Jews!” | And they stripped him, and put on him a scarlet robe. And when they had platted a crown of thorns, they put it upon his head, and a reed in his right hand: and they bowed the knee before him, and mocked him, saying, Hail, King of the Jews! |
| Let all that I am wait quietly before God, for my hope is in him. | My soul, wait thou only upon God; for my expectation is from him. |
| But from there you will search again for the Lord your God. And if you search for him with all your heart and soul, you will find him. | But if from thence thou shalt seek the Lord thy God, thou shalt find him, if thou seek him with all thy heart and with all thy soul. |
| Yes, God will bless us, and people all over the world will fear him. | God shall bless us; and all the ends of the earth shall fear him. |
| In this way, God qualified him as a perfect High Priest, and he became the source of eternal salvation for all those who obey him. | And being made perfect, he became the author of eternal salvation unto all them that obey him. |
| Dear friends, if we don’t feel guilty, we can come to God with bold confidence. And we will receive from him whatever we ask because we obey him and do the things that please him. | Beloved, if our heart condemn us not, then have we confidence toward God. And whatsoever we ask, we receive of him, because we keep his commandments, and do those things that are pleasing in his sight. |
| And it is impossible to please God without faith. Anyone who wants to come to him must believe that God exists and that he rewards those who sincerely seek him. | But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him. |
| Since he did not spare even his own Son but gave him up for us all, won’t he also give us everything else? | He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things? |
| This is the message we heard from Jesus and now declare to you: God is light, and there is no darkness in him at all. | This then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare unto you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all. |
| As the Scriptures tell us, “Anyone who trusts in him will never be disgraced.” | For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed. |
| I say to myself, “The Lord is my inheritance; therefore, I will hope in him!” | The Lord is my portion, saith my soul; therefore will I hope in him. |
| For God is Spirit, so those who worship him must worship in spirit and in truth. | God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth. |
| He is the one all the prophets testified about, saying that everyone who believes in him will have their sins forgiven through his name. | To him give all the prophets witness, that through his name whosoever believeth in him shall receive remission of sins. |
| But while Peter was in prison, the church prayed very earnestly for him. | Peter therefore was kept in prison: but prayer was made without ceasing of the church unto God for him. |
| Joyful are those who obey his laws and search for him with all their hearts. | Blessed are they that keep his testimonies, and that seek him with the whole heart. |
| Taste and see that the Lord is good. Oh, the joys of those who take refuge in him! | O taste and see that the Lord is good: blessed is the man that trusteth in him. |
