Yahweh’s eyes are toward the righteous. His ears listen to their cry. | The eyes of the Lord are on the righteous, and his ears are attentive to their cry. |
He who keeps the commandment keeps his soul, but he who is contemptuous in his ways shall die. | Whoever keeps commandments keeps their life, but whoever shows contempt for their ways will die. |

For I command you today to love Yahweh your God, to walk in his ways and to keep his commandments, his statutes, and his ordinances, that you may live and multiply, and that Yahweh your God may bless you in the land where you go in to possess it. | For I command you today to love the Lord your God, to walk in obedience to him, and to keep his commands, decrees and laws; then you will live and increase, and the Lord your God will bless you in the land you are entering to possess. |

The testimony is this: that God gave to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. | And this is the testimony: God has given us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. |
But he knows the way that I take. When he has tried me, I will come out like gold. My foot has held fast to his steps.
