Hope (2/2)

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! According to his great mercy, he has caused us to be born again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead.Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who according to His abundant mercy has begotten us again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead.
Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen. Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.
Lead me in your truth and teach me, for you are the God of my salvation; for you I wait all the day long.Lead me in Your truth and teach me, For You are the God of my salvation; On You I wait all the day.
Beloved, we are God's children now, and what we will be has not yet appeared; but we know that when he appears we shall be like him, because we shall see him as he is. And everyone who thus hopes in him purifies himself as he is pure.Beloved, now we are children of God; and it has not yet been revealed what we shall be, but we know that when He is revealed, we shall be like Him, for we shall see Him as He is. And everyone who has this hope in Him purifies himself, just as He is pure.
But as for me, I will look to the Lord; I will wait for the God of my salvation; my God will hear me.Therefore I will look to the Lord; I will wait for the God of my salvation; My God will hear me.
Wait for the Lord; be strong, and let your heart take courage; wait for the Lord!Wait on the Lord; Be of good courage, And He shall strengthen your heart; Wait, I say, on the Lord!
As for the rich in this present age, charge them not to be haughty, nor to set their hopes on the uncertainty of riches, but on God, who richly provides us with everything to enjoy.Command those who are rich in this present age not to be haughty, nor to trust in uncertain riches but in the living God, who gives us richly all things to enjoy.
Blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord, whose trust is the Lord. He is like a tree planted by water, that sends out its roots by the stream, and does not fear when heat comes, for its leaves remain green, and is not anxious in the year of drought, for it does not cease to bear fruit.Blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord, And whose hope is the Lord. For he shall be like a tree planted by the waters, Which spreads out its roots by the river, And will not fear when heat comes; But its leaf will be green, And will not be anxious in the year of drought, Nor will cease from yielding fruit.
When the cares of my heart are many, your consolations cheer my soul.In the multitude of my anxieties within me, Your comforts delight my soul.
But they who wait for the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint. But those who wait on the Lord Shall renew their strength; They shall mount up with wings like eagles, They shall run and not be weary, They shall walk and not faint.
Beloved, I pray that all may go well with you and that you may be in good health, as it goes well with your soul.Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers.
Because I delivered the poor who cried for help, and the fatherless who had none to help him. The blessing of him who was about to perish came upon me, and I caused the widow's heart to sing for joy.Because I delivered the poor who cried out, The fatherless and the one who had no helper. The blessing of a perishing man came upon me, And I caused the widow’s heart to sing for joy.
