Jesus saith unto her, Said I not unto thee, that, if thou wouldest believe, thou shouldest see the glory of God? | Jesus said to her, “Did I not tell you that if you believed, you would see the glory of God?” |
Then said Jesus to them again, Peace be unto you: as my Father hath sent me, even so send I you. | Jesus said to them again, “Peace be with you. As the Father has sent me, so I send you.” |
Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. | Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.” |

Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. | Jesus answered him, “Very truly, I tell you, no one can see the kingdom of God without being born from above.” |

Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution. | Indeed, all who want to live a godly life in Christ Jesus will be persecuted. |
Whosoever shall confess that Jesus is the Son of God, God dwelleth in him, and he in God. | God abides in those who confess that Jesus is the Son of God, and they abide in God. |
Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. | Jesus answered, “Very truly, I tell you, no one can enter the kingdom of God without being born of water and Spirit.” |
But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. | But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. |
And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house. | They answered, “Believe on the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved, you and your household.” |
Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to his abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead. | Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! Who is he that overcometh the world, but he that believeth that Jesus is the Son of God? | Who is it that conquers the world but the one who believes that Jesus is the Son of God? |
But when Jesus heard it, he answered him, saying, Fear not: believe only, and she shall be made whole. | When Jesus heard this, he replied, “Do not fear. Only believe, and she will be saved.” |
And Jesus said unto them, I am the bread of life: he that cometh to me shall never hunger; and he that believeth on me shall never thirst. | Jesus said to them, “I am the bread of life. Whoever comes to me will never be hungry, and whoever believes in me will never be thirsty.” |
From that time Jesus began to preach, and to say, Repent: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand. | From that time Jesus began to proclaim, “Repent, for the kingdom of heaven has come near.” |
