For those who want to save their life will lose it, and those who lose their life for my sake will save it.For whoever desires to save his life will lose it, but whoever will lose his life for my sake will save it.

Then he said to them all, “If any want to become my followers, let them deny themselves and take up their cross daily and follow me.”He said to all, “If anyone desires to come after me, let him deny himself, take up his cross, and follow me.”
Jesus said to him, “If you wish to be perfect, go, sell your possessions, and give the money to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven; then come, follow me.”Jesus said to him, “If you want to be perfect, go, sell what you have, and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven; and come, follow me.”
For those who want to save their life will lose it, and those who lose their life for my sake, and for the sake of the gospel, will save it.For whoever wants to save his life will lose it; and whoever will lose his life for my sake and the sake of the Good News will save it.
