| For “Those who desire life and desire to see good days, let them keep their tongues from evil and their lips from speaking deceit; let them turn away from evil and do good; let them seek peace and pursue it.” | For, “The one who desires life, to love and see good days, Must keep his tongue from evil and his lips from speaking deceit. | Those who withhold kindness from a friend forsake the fear of the Almighty. | For the despairing man there should be kindness from his friend; So that he does not abandon the fear of the Almighty. |
| Those who eat my flesh and drink my blood abide in me, and I in them. | The one who eats My flesh and drinks My blood remains in Me, and I in him. |

| Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life; whoever disobeys the Son will not see life, but must endure God's wrath. | The one who believes in the Son has eternal life; but the one who does not obey the Son will not see life, but the wrath of God remains on him. |
| And without faith it is impossible to please God, for whoever would approach him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who seek him. | And without faith it is impossible to please Him, for the one who comes to God must believe that He exists, and that He proves to be One who rewards those who seek Him. |
