One who forgives an affront fosters friendship, but one who dwells on disputes will alienate a friend.One who conceals an offense seeks love, But one who repeats a matter separates close friends.

While God has overlooked the times of human ignorance, now he commands all people everywhere to repent.So having overlooked the times of ignorance, God is now proclaiming to mankind that all people everywhere are to repent.
Return, faithless Israel, says the Lord. I will not look on you in anger, for I am merciful, says the Lord; I will not be angry forever.‘Return, faithless Israel,’ declares the Lord; ‘I will not look at you in anger. For I am gracious,’ declares the Lord; ‘I will not be angry forever.’

But if you do not forgive others, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.But if you do not forgive other people, then your Father will not forgive your offenses.
