- Whoever covers an offense seeks love,
but he who repeats a matter separates close friends. - Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, as God in Christ forgave you.
- For if you forgive others their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you.
- Bearing with one another and, if one has a complaint against another, forgiving each other; as the Lord has forgiven you, so you also must forgive.
- If my people who are called by my name humble themselves, and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and heal their land.

because he delights in steadfast love. - Let it be known to you therefore, brothers, that through this man forgiveness of sins is proclaimed to you, and by him everyone who believes is freed from everything from which you could not be freed by the law of Moses.
- For the Lord your God is gracious and merciful and will not turn away his face from you, if you return to him.
- He is the propitiation for our sins, and not for ours only but also for the sins of the whole world.
- I acknowledged my sin to you,
and I did not cover my iniquity;
I said, “I will confess my transgressions to the Lord,”
and you forgave the iniquity of my sin. Selah - And forgive us our debts,
as we also have forgiven our debtors. - In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of his grace.

Return to the Lord your God,
for he is gracious and merciful,
slow to anger, and abounding in steadfast love;
and he relents over disaster. - Repent therefore, and turn back, that your sins may be blotted out.
- If your brother sins, rebuke him, and if he repents, forgive him, and if he sins against you seven times in the day, and turns to you seven times, saying, ‘I repent,’ you must forgive him.
- And Peter said to them, “Repent and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins, and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.”
- Is anyone among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord. And the prayer of faith will save the one who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. And if he has committed sins, he will be forgiven.
- Let the wicked forsake his way,
and the unrighteous man his thoughts;
let him return to the Lord, that he may have compassion on him,
and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon. - The times of ignorance God overlooked, but now he commands all people everywhere to repent.
- Return, faithless Israel,
declares the Lord.
I will not look on you in anger,
for I am merciful,
declares the Lord;
I will not be angry forever.
But if you do not forgive others their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.Help us, O God of our salvation,
for the glory of your name;
deliver us, and atone for our sins,
