Bible Verses about Reconciliation

  • That is, in Christ God was reconciling the world to himself, not counting their trespasses against them, and entrusting the message of reconciliation to us.
  • Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, as God in Christ has forgiven you.
  • Bear with one another and, if anyone has a complaint against another, forgive each other; just as the Lord has forgiven you, so you also must forgive.
  • If your brother or sister sins against you, go and point out the fault when the two of you are alone. If you are listened to, you have regained that one.
  • Repent, therefore, and turn to God so that your sins may be wiped out.
  • For if while we were enemies we were reconciled to God through the death of his Son, much more surely, having been reconciled, will we be saved by his life.
  • Pursue peace with everyone and the holiness without which no one will see the Lord.
  • In this is love, not that we loved God but that he loved us and sent his Son to be the atoning sacrifice for our sins.
  • All this is from God, who reconciled us to himself through Christ and has given us the ministry of reconciliation.
  • Help us, O God of our salvation,
    for the glory of your name;
    deliver us and forgive our sins,
    for your name’s sake.
  • And he is the atoning sacrifice for our sins, and not for ours only but also for the sins of the whole world.
