He has rescued us from the power of darkness and brought us… Colossians 1:13-14

He has rescued us from the power of darkness and brought us into the kingdom of his beloved Son, in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins. And as we gaze upon the glory of the Lord with unveiled faces, all of us are being transformed into that same image from glory to glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit. 2 Corinthians 3:18	So all of us who have had that veil removed can see and reflect the glory of the Lord. Such hope will not be doomed to disappointment, because the love of God has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit that has been given to us. Amen, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be lifted up and thrown into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart but believes that what he says will happen, it will be accomplished for him. But you are “a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people claimed by God as his own possession,” so that you may proclaim the praise of him who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light. 1 Peter 2:9	But you are not like that, for you are a chosen people. Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over, will be poured into your lap. The measure that you use for others will be used to measure you. Bring the tithes in full into the treasury so that there may be food in my house. Therefore, brethren, be diligent in providing a firm foundation for your call and election. If you do this, you will never stumble, and you will receive a glorious welcome into the eternal kingdom of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. 2 Peter 1:10-11	So, dear brothers and sisters, work hard to prove that you really are among those God has called and chosen. Let us then make every effort to enter into that rest, so that no one may fall by following that example of refusing to believe. Hebrews 4:11	So let us do our best to enter that rest. But if we disobey God, as the people of Israel did, we will fall. sabbath obedience rest

Welcome anyone whose faith is weak, but do not get into arguments about doubts. Romans 14:1	Accept other believers who are weak in faith, and don’t argue with them about what they think is right or wrong. faith community
Therefore, a Sabbath rest still remains for the people of God, since those who enter into God’s rest also cease from their own labors as God did from his. Hebrews 4:9-10	So there is a special rest still waiting for the people of God. For all who have entered into God’s rest have rested from their labors, just as God did after creating the world. sabbath rest work
Filled with the Holy Spirit, Jesus returned from the Jordan and was led by the Spirit into the desert for forty days, where he was tempted by the devil. The Lord will rescue me from every evil attack and bring me safely into his heavenly kingdom. To him be glory forever and ever. The name of the Lord is a tower of strength; the upright man runs to it and finds refuge. Proverbs 18:10	The name of the Lord is a strong fortress; the godly run to him and are safe. God safety protection
Gaze upon the birds in the sky. They do not sow or reap or store in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of far greater value than they? Matthew 6:26	Look at the birds. They don’t plant or harvest or store food in barns, for your heavenly Father feeds them. And aren’t you far more valuable to him than they are? valuable trust Father
In my anguish I cried out to the Lord and called to my God for help. From his temple he heard my voice, and my cry to him reached his ears. His master said to him, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant. Since you have been faithful in small matters, I will give you much greater responsibilities. Come and share your master’s joy.’ Matthew 25:21	The master was full of praise. ‘Well done, my good and faithful servant. Like newborn infants, long for pure spiritual milk, so that by it you may advance on the path to salvation. 1 Peter 2:2	Like newborn babies, you must crave pure spiritual milk so that you will grow into a full experience of salvation. Cry out for this nourishment. salvation food Word of God
Before the mountains were brought forth or the earth and the world came into existence, from everlasting to everlasting you are God. Psalm 90:2	Before the mountains were born, before you gave birth to the earth and the world, from beginning to end, you are God. creation God understanding
In my distress I called out to the Lord; he answered by setting me free. Psalm 118:5	In my distress I prayed to the Lord, and the Lord answered me and set me free. prayer dependence comforter

He is not here. He has been raised. Remember what he told you while he was still in Galilee: that the Son of Man must be handed over to sinners and be crucified and rise again on the third day.

He isn’t here! He is risen from the dead! Remember what he told you back in Galilee, that the Son of Man must be betrayed into the hands of sinful men and be crucified, and that he would rise again on the third day.
