Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. God abides in anyone who acknowledges that Jesus is the Son of God, and that person abides in God. | Whoever confesses that Jesus is the Son of God, God abides in him, and he in God. |
The one who gives this testimony says, “Yes, I am coming soon.” Amen. Come, Lord Jesus! | He who testifies to these things says, “Surely I am coming quickly.” Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus! |
For we believe that Jesus died and rose again, and so too do we believe that God will bring forth with Jesus those who have fallen asleep in him. | For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so God will bring with Him those who sleep in Jesus. |
I press on toward the finishing line to win the heavenly prize to which God has called me in Christ Jesus. | I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus. |

The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ and the love of God and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all. | The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Spirit be with you all. Amen. |
What I commanded them was this: Listen to my voice, and I will be your God, and you will be my people. And walk in all the ways that I have commanded you, that it may be well with you.’ |
Rather, put on the Lord Jesus Christ and allow no opportunity for the flesh to gratify its sinful desires. | But put on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make no provision for the flesh, to fulfill its lusts. |
From that day forward Jesus began to proclaim the message: “Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is close at hand.” | From that time Jesus began to preach and to say, “Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.” |
