John 14;14 (2/4)

When the Counselor has come, whom I will send to you from the Father, the Spirit of truth, who proceeds from the Father, he will testify about me.When the Advocate comes, whom I will send to you from the Father—the Spirit of truth who goes out from the Father—he will testify about me.
Nevertheless I tell you the truth: It is to your advantage that I go away; for if I don’t go away, the Counselor won’t come to you. But if I go, I will send him to you.But very truly I tell you, it is for your good that I am going away. Unless I go away, the Advocate will not come to you; but if I go, I will send him to you.
When he has come, he will convict the world about sin, about righteousness, and about judgment. When he comes, he will prove the world to be in the wrong about sin and righteousness and judgment.
Until now, you have asked nothing in my name. Ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be made full.Until now you have not asked for anything in my name. Ask and you will receive, and your joy will be complete.
I came from the Father and have come into the world. Again, I leave the world and go to the Father.I came from the Father and entered the world; now I am leaving the world and going back to the Father.
I have told you these things, that in me you may have peace. In the world you have trouble; but cheer up! I have overcome the world.I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.
This is eternal life, that they should know you, the only true God, and him whom you sent, Jesus Christ. Now this is eternal life: that they know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent.
I pray not that you would take them from the world, but that you would keep them from the evil one.My prayer is not that you take them out of the world but that you protect them from the evil one.
Father, I desire that they also whom you have given me be with me where I am, that they may see my glory which you have given me, for you loved me before the foundation of the world.Father, I want those you have given me to be with me where I am, and to see my glory, the glory you have given me because you loved me before the creation of the world.
I made known to them your name, and will make it known; that the love with which you loved me may be in them, and I in them.I have made you known to them, and will continue to make you known in order that the love you have for me may be in them and that I myself may be in them.
When Jesus therefore had received the vinegar, he said, “It is finished!” Then he bowed his head and gave up his spirit. When he had received the drink, Jesus said, “It is finished.” With that, he bowed his head and gave up his spirit.
So then the other disciple who came first to the tomb also entered in, and he saw and believed. For as yet they didn’t know the Scripture, that he must rise from the dead. Finally the other disciple, who had reached the tomb first, also went inside. He saw and believed. (They still did not understand from Scripture that Jesus had to rise from the dead.)
Jesus said to her, “Don’t hold me, for I haven’t yet ascended to my Father; but go to my brothers and tell them, ‘I am ascending to my Father and your Father, to my God and your God.’”Jesus said, “Do not hold on to me, for I have not yet ascended to the Father. Go instead to my brothers and tell them, ‘I am ascending to my Father and your Father, to my God and your God.’”
Jesus therefore said to them again, “Peace be to you. As the Father has sent me, even so I send you.”Again Jesus said, “Peace be with you! As the Father has sent me, I am sending you.”
Jesus said to him, “Because you have seen me, you have believed. Blessed are those who have not seen and have believed.”Then Jesus told him, “Because you have seen me, you have believed; blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed.”
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
All things were made through him. Without him, nothing was made that has been made.Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made.
The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness hasn’t overcome it.The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.
But as many as received him, to them he gave the right to become God’s children, to those who believe in his name.Yet to all who did receive him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God.
The Word became flesh and lived among us. We saw his glory, such glory as of the only born Son of the Father, full of grace and truth. The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the one and only Son, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth.
No one has seen God at any time. The only born Son, who is in the bosom of the Father, has declared him.No one has ever seen God, but the one and only Son, who is himself God and is in closest relationship with the Father, has made him known.
I didn’t recognize him, but he who sent me to baptize in water said to me, ‘On whomever you will see the Spirit descending and remaining on him is he who baptizes in the Holy Spirit.’And I myself did not know him, but the one who sent me to baptize with water told me, ‘The man on whom you see the Spirit come down and remain is the one who will baptize with the Holy Spirit.’

Jesus answered, “Most certainly I tell you, unless one is born of water and Spirit, he can’t enter into God’s Kingdom.”Jesus answered, “Very truly I tell you, no one can enter the kingdom of God unless they are born of water and the Spirit.”
