The hope of the righteous is gladness, But the expectation of the wicked perishes.The hope of the righteous ends in gladness, but the expectation of the wicked comes to nothing.
The father of the righteous will greatly rejoice, And he who fathers a wise son will be glad in him.The father of the righteous will greatly rejoice; he who begets a wise son will be glad in him.

A wise son makes a father glad, But a foolish son is a grief to his mother.A wise child makes a glad father, but a foolish child is a mother's grief.
