King is born (2/4)

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who according to his great mercy caused us to be born again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead.All praise to God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. It is by his great mercy that we have been born again, because God raised Jesus Christ from the dead. Now we live with great expectation.
By this God’s love was revealed in us, that God has sent his only born Son into the world that we might live through him.God showed how much he loved us by sending his one and only Son into the world so that we might have eternal life through him.
I thank you and praise you, O God of my fathers, who have given me wisdom and might, and have now made known to me what we desired of you; for you have made known to us the king’s matter.I thank and praise you, God of my ancestors, for you have given me wisdom and strength. You have told me what we asked of you and revealed to us what the king demanded.
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only born Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life.For this is how God loved the world: He gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life.
The Word became flesh and lived among us. We saw his glory, such glory as of the only born Son of the Father, full of grace and truth.So the Word became human and made his home among us. He was full of unfailing love and faithfulness. And we have seen his glory, the glory of the Father’s one and only Son.
Who, existing in the form of God, didn’t consider equality with God a thing to be grasped, but emptied himself, taking the form of a servant, being made in the likeness of men. And being found in human form, he humbled himself, becoming obedient to the point of death, yes, the death of the cross.Though he was God, he did not think of equality with God as something to cling to. Instead, he gave up his divine privileges; he took the humble position of a slave and was born as a human being. When he appeared in human form, he humbled himself in obedience to God and died a criminal’s death on a cross.
How beautiful on the mountains are the feet of him who brings good news, who publishes peace, who brings good news, who proclaims salvation, who says to Zion, “Your God reigns!”How beautiful on the mountains are the feet of the messenger who brings good news, the good news of peace and salvation, the news that the God of Israel reigns!
By Yahweh’s word, the heavens were made: all their army by the breath of his mouth.The Lord merely spoke, and the heavens were created. He breathed the word, and all the stars were born.
While they were there, the day had come for her to give birth. She gave birth to her firstborn son. She wrapped him in bands of cloth and laid him in a feeding trough, because there was no room for them in the inn.And while they were there, the time came for her baby to be born. Who is wise and understanding among you? Let him show by his good conduct that his deeds are done in gentleness of wisdom.If you are wise and understand God’s ways, prove it by living an honorable life, doing good works with the humility that comes from wisdom.
As he came out of his mother’s womb, naked shall he go again as he came, and shall take nothing for his labor, which he may carry away in his hand.We all come to the end of our lives as naked and empty-handed as on the day we were born. We can’t take our riches with us.
Blessed is he whose disobedience is forgiven, whose sin is covered.Oh, what joy for those whose disobedience is forgiven, whose sin is put out of sight!
Now the Lord is the Spirit; and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty.For the Lord is the Spirit, and wherever the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom.
For to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain.For to me, living means living for Christ, and dying is even better.
Now the birth of Jesus Christ was like this: After his mother, Mary, was engaged to Joseph, before they came together, she was found pregnant by the Holy Spirit.This is how Jesus the Messiah was born. His mother, Mary, was engaged to be married to Joseph. But before the marriage took place, while she was still a virgin, she became pregnant through the power of the Holy Spirit.
For who is God, except Yahweh? Who is a rock, besides our God?For who is God except the Lord? Who but our God is a solid rock?
Joseph also went up from Galilee, out of the city of Nazareth, into Judea, to David’s city, which is called Bethlehem, because he was of the house and family of David, to enroll himself with Mary, who was pledged to be married to him as wife, being pregnant.And because Joseph was a descendant of King David, he had to go to Bethlehem in Judea, David’s ancient home. He traveled there from the village of Nazareth in Galilee. He took with him Mary, to whom he was engaged, who was now expecting a child.
There is no one as holy as Yahweh, for there is no one besides you, nor is there any rock like our God.No one is holy like the Lord! There is no one besides you; there is no Rock like our God.
Behold, God is my helper. The Lord is the one who sustains my soul.But God is my helper. The Lord keeps me alive!
For who is God, besides Yahweh? Who is a rock, besides our God?For who is God except the Lord? Who but our God is a solid rock?
The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law.For sin is the sting that results in death, and the law gives sin its power.
This is the message which we have heard from him and announce to you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all.This is the message we heard from Jesus and now declare to you: God is light, and there is no darkness in him at all.
For every house is built by someone; but he who built all things is God.For every house has a builder, but the one who built everything is God.
Let love be without hypocrisy. Abhor that which is evil. Cling to that which is good.Don’t just pretend to love others. Really love them. Hate what is wrong. Hold tightly to what is good.
Now a mediator is not between one, but God is one.Now a mediator is helpful if more than one party must reach an agreement. But God, who is one, did not use a mediator when he gave his promise to Abraham.

That which makes a man to be desired is his kindness. A poor man is better than a liar.Loyalty makes a person attractive. It is better to be poor than dishonest.
