Bible Verses about 'Lest'

Take care, brothers and sisters, that none of you may have an evil, unbelieving heart that turns away from the living God.Beware, brothers, lest perhaps there might be in any one of you an evil heart of unbelief, in falling away from the living God.
But I punish my body and enslave it, so that after proclaiming to others I myself should not be disqualified. But I beat my body and bring it into submission, lest by any means, after I have preached to others, I myself should be disqualified.
Let us therefore make every effort to enter that rest, so that no one may fall through such disobedience as theirs.Let’s therefore give diligence to enter into that rest, lest anyone fall after the same example of disobedience.
My friends, if anyone is detected in a transgression, you who have received the Spirit should restore such a one in a spirit of gentleness. Take care that you yourselves are not tempted.Brothers, even if a man is caught in some fault, you who are spiritual must restore such a one in a spirit of gentleness, looking to yourself so that you also aren’t tempted.
Then the Lord God said, “See, the man has become like one of us, knowing good and evil; and now, he might reach out his hand and take also from the tree of life, and eat, and live forever”— therefore the Lord God sent him forth from the garden of Eden, to till the ground from which he was taken.Yahweh God said, “Behold, the man has become like one of us, knowing good and evil. Now, lest he reach out his hand, and also take of the tree of life, and eat, and live forever—” Therefore Yahweh God sent him out from the garden of Eden, to till the ground from which he was taken.
For by grace you have been saved through faith, and this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God— not the result of works, so that no one may boast. For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, that no one would boast.
Repent and turn from all your transgressions; otherwise iniquity will be your ruin.Return, and turn yourselves from all your transgressions, so iniquity will not be your ruin.
Above all, my beloved, do not swear, either by heaven or by earth or by any other oath, but let your “Yes” be yes and your “No” be no, so that you may not fall under condemnation. But above all things, my brothers, don’t swear— not by heaven, or by the earth, or by any other oath; but let your “yes” be “yes”, and your “no”, “no”, so that you don’t fall into hypocrisy.
Stay awake and pray that you may not come into the time of trial; the spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak.Watch and pray, that you don’t enter into temptation. The spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak.
You shall not hate in your heart anyone of your kin; you shall reprove your neighbor, or you will incur guilt yourself. You shall not take vengeance or bear a grudge against any of your people, but you shall love your neighbor as yourself: I am the Lord. You shall not hate your brother in your heart. You shall surely rebuke your neighbor, and not bear sin because of him. You shall not take vengeance, nor bear any grudge against the children of your people; but you shall love your neighbor as yourself. I am Yahweh.
Fine speech is not becoming to a fool; still less is false speech to a ruler.Excellent speech isn’t fitting for a fool, much less do lying lips fit a prince.

Are any among you sick? They should call for the elders of the church and have them pray over them, anointing them with oil in the name of the Lord. The prayer of faith will save the sick, and the Lord will raise them up; and anyone who has committed sins will be forgiven.Next verse! With image
