Let us then approach the throne of grace with confidence so that we may receive mercy and find grace when we are in need of help. Hebrews 4:16	So let us come boldly to the throne of our gracious God. Let no one delude himself. If anyone among you considers himself to be wise by worldly standards, he must become a fool in order to be truly wise. 1 Corinthians 3:18	Stop deceiving yourselves. Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that weighs us down and the sins that so easily distract us and with perseverance run the race that lies ahead of us.

Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a huge crowd of witnesses to the life of faith, let us strip off every weight that slows us down, especially the sin that so easily trips us up. And let us run with endurance the race God has set before us.
