- Come forth! Let us bow down to worship him;
let us kneel before the Lord, our Maker. - Nevertheless, I am telling you the truth:

Let them return to the Lord
so that he may have mercy upon them;
and to our God,
for he is rich in forgiveness. - I then heard the voice of the Lord saying, “Whom shall I send? Who will go for us?” I said, “Here I am. Send me!”
- I will instruct you
and guide you in the way you should go;
I will counsel you
and keep my eyes upon you. - Train a child in the way he should go,

but in deed and truth. - This rather is the type of fast that I wish:
to loosen the fetters of injustice,
to undo the thongs of the yoke,
to set free those who are oppressed
and to break every yoke. - If your brother wrongs you, go and take up the matter with him when the two of you are alone. If he listens to you, you have won your brother over.
- So we must not fall asleep as the others do, but we must stay alert and sober.
- I have given you a command. Be strong and brave, do not be afraid nor dismayed. I, the Lord, your God, will be with you wherever you go.
- At dawn let me experience your kindness,
for in you I place my trust.
Show me the path I must walk,
for to you I lift up my soul. - Sing praise to the Lord for his mighty deeds;
let this be known throughout the entire world. - Let those who are wise understand these words,
and let the prudent acknowledge them.
For straight are the ways of the Lord;
the upright walk in them,
but sinners stumble. - Jesus replied, “If you wish to be perfect, go, sell your possessions, and give the money to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven. Then come, follow me.”
- Let your love be sincere. Loathe what is evil and hold fast to what is good.
- And let the peace of Christ reign in your hearts, because it was for this that you were called together in one body. Always be thankful.

save me in your kindness. - The Spirit of the Lord is upon me,

He has sent me to proclaim release to prisoners
and recovery of sight to the blind,
to let the oppressed go free. - And God said, “Let us make man in our image and likeness, and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the sky and over the cattle and over all the wild animals and reptiles that crawl upon the earth.”
- On the last and greatest day of the feast, Jesus stood up and cried out,
“If anyone is thirsty,
let him come to me and drink.” - You did not choose me.
Rather, I chose you.
And I appointed you
to go out and bear fruit,
fruit that will remain,
so that the Father may give you
whatever you ask him in my name. - Everything that you do should be done in love.
- Let us remain firm in the confession of our hope without wavering, for the one who made the promise is trustworthy.
