Know this, my beloved brothers: let every person be quick to hear, slow to speak, slow to anger.So, then, my beloved brothers, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, and slow to anger.

Be angry and do not sin; do not let the sun go down on your anger, and give no opportunity to the devil.“Be angry, and don’t sin.” Don’t let the sun go down on your wrath, and don’t give place to the devil.
Who is wise and understanding among you? By his good conduct let him show his works in the meekness of wisdom.Who is wise and understanding among you? Let him show by his good conduct that his deeds are done in gentleness of wisdom.
And he said to all, “If anyone would come after me, let him deny himself and take up his cross daily and follow me.”He said to all, “If anyone desires to come after me, let him deny himself, take up his cross, and follow me.”

And calling the crowd to him with his disciples, he said to them, “If anyone would come after me, let him deny himself and take up his cross and follow me.”He called the multitude to himself with his disciples and said to them, “Whoever wants to come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me.”
