In you, O Lord, I seek refuge; do not let me ever be put to shame; in your righteousness deliver me.In you, Yahweh, I take refuge. Let me never be disappointed. Deliver me in your righteousness.
Be angry but do not sin; do not let the sun go down on your anger, and do not make room for the devil.“Be angry, and don’t sin.” Don’t let the sun go down on your wrath, and don’t give place to the devil.
Do not, O Lord, withhold your mercy from me; let your steadfast love and your faithfulness keep me safe forever.Don’t withhold your tender mercies from me, Yahweh. Let your loving kindness and your truth continually preserve me.
Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable to you, O Lord, my rock and my redeemer.Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable in your sight, Yahweh, my rock, and my redeemer.
Let no one despise your youth, but set the believers an example in speech and conduct, in love, in faith, in purity.Let no man despise your youth; but be an example to those who believe, in word, in your way of life, in love, in spirit, in faith, and in purity.

Then he said to them all, “If any want to become my followers, let them deny themselves and take up their cross daily and follow me.”He said to all, “If anyone desires to come after me, let him deny himself, take up his cross, and follow me.”
Some judge one day to be better than another, while others judge all days to be alike. Let all be fully convinced in their own minds.One man esteems one day as more important. Another esteems every day alike. Let each man be fully assured in his own mind.
Let me hear of your steadfast love in the morning, for in you I put my trust. Teach me the way I should go, for to you I lift up my soul.Cause me to hear your loving kindness in the morning, for I trust in you. Cause me to know the way in which I should walk, for I lift up my soul to you.
But Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me, and do not stop them; for it is to such as these that the kingdom of heaven belongs.”But Jesus said, “Allow the little children, and don’t forbid them to come to me; for the Kingdom of Heaven belongs to ones like these.”
My child, be attentive to my words; incline your ear to my sayings. Do not let them escape from your sight; keep them within your heart.My son, attend to my words. Turn your ear to my sayings. Let them not depart from your eyes. Keep them in the center of your heart.
Let mutual love continue. Do not neglect to show hospitality to strangers, for by doing that some have entertained angels without knowing it.Let brotherly love continue. Don’t forget to show hospitality to strangers, for in doing so, some have entertained angels without knowing it.
“Let the one who boasts, boast in the Lord.” For it is not those who commend themselves that are approved, but those whom the Lord commends.But “he who boasts, let him boast in the Lord.” For it isn’t he who commends himself who is approved, but whom the Lord commends.
Let the believer who is lowly boast in being raised up, and the rich in being brought low, because the rich will disappear like a flower in the field.Let the brother in humble circumstances glory in his high position; and the rich, in that he is made humble, because like the flower in the grass, he will pass away.
Is not this the fast that I choose: to loose the bonds of injustice, to undo the thongs of the yoke, to let the oppressed go free, and to break every yoke?Isn’t this the fast that I have chosen: to release the bonds of wickedness, to undo the straps of the yoke, to let the oppressed go free, and that you break every yoke?
Let what you heard from the beginning abide in you. If what you heard from the beginning abides in you, then you will abide in the Son and in the Father.Therefore, as for you, let that remain in you which you heard from the beginning. If that which you heard from the beginning remains in you, you also will remain in the Son, and in the Father.
He called the crowd with his disciples, and said to them, “If any want to become my followers, let them deny themselves and take up their cross and follow me.”He called the multitude to himself with his disciples and said to them, “Whoever wants to come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me.”
Let no evil talk come out of your mouths, but only what is useful for building up, as there is need, so that your words may give grace to those who hear.Let no corrupt speech proceed out of your mouth, but only what is good for building others up as the need may be, that it may give grace to those who hear.
My child, do not forget my teaching, but let your heart keep my commandments; for length of days and years of life and abundant welfare they will give you.My son, don’t forget my teaching, but let your heart keep my commandments, for they will add to you length of days, years of life, and peace.
Let every person be subject to the governing authorities; for there is no authority except from God, and those authorities that exist have been instituted by God.Let every soul be in subjection to the higher authorities, for there is no authority except from God, and those who exist are ordained by God.
Now, let the fear of the Lord be upon you; take care what you do, for there is no perversion of justice with the Lord our God, or partiality, or taking of bribes.Now therefore let the fear of Yahweh be on you. Take heed and do it; for there is no iniquity with Yahweh our God, nor respect of persons, nor taking of bribes.

Above all, my beloved, do not swear, either by heaven or by earth or by any other oath, but let your “Yes” be yes and your “No” be no, so that you may not fall under condemnation.But above all things, my brothers, don’t swear— not by heaven, or by the earth, or by any other oath; but let your “yes” be “yes”, and your “no”, “no”, so that you don’t fall into hypocrisy.
