Live (3/4)

I have chosen to be faithful; I have determined to live by your regulations.I have chosen the faithful way; I have placed Your judgments before me.
Prove by the way you live that you have repented of your sins and turned to God.Therefore produce fruit consistent with repentance.
Honor your father and mother. Then you will live a long, full life in the land the Lord your God is giving you.Honor your father and your mother, so that your days may be prolonged on the land which the Lord your God gives you.
A single day in your courts is better than a thousand anywhere else! I would rather be a gatekeeper in the house of my God than live the good life in the homes of the wicked. For a day in Your courtyards is better than a thousand elsewhere. I would rather stand at the threshold of the house of my God Than live in the tents of wickedness.
I know how to live on almost nothing or with everything. I have learned the secret of living in every situation, whether it is with a full stomach or empty, with plenty or little.I know how to get along with little, and I also know how to live in prosperity; in any and every circumstance I have learned the secret of being filled and going hungry, both of having abundance and suffering need.
All who declare that Jesus is the Son of God have God living in them, and they live in God.Whoever confesses that Jesus is the Son of God, God remains in him, and he in God.
For we know that when this earthly tent we live in is taken down (that is, when we die and leave this earthly body), we will have a house in heaven, an eternal body made for us by God himself and not by human hands. For we know that if our earthly tent which is our house is torn down, we have a building from God, a house not made by hands, eternal in the heavens.
Those who live only to satisfy their own sinful nature will harvest decay and death from that sinful nature. But those who live to please the Spirit will harvest everlasting life from the Spirit. For the one who sows to his own flesh will reap destruction from the flesh, but the one who sows to the Spirit will reap eternal life from the Spirit.
Live a life filled with love, following the example of Christ. He loved us and offered himself as a sacrifice for us, a pleasing aroma to God.And walk in love, just as Christ also loved you and gave Himself up for us, an offering and a sacrifice to God as a fragrant aroma.
Seek the Kingdom of God above all else, and live righteously, and he will give you everything you need. But seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be provided to you.
So I concluded there is nothing better than to be happy and enjoy ourselves as long as we can. And people should eat and drink and enjoy the fruits of their labor, for these are gifts from God.I know that there is nothing better for them than to rejoice and to do good in one’s lifetime; moreover, that every person who eats and drinks sees good in all his labor—this is the gift of God.
Teach me your ways, O Lord, that I may live according to your truth! Grant me purity of heart, so that I may honor you.Teach me Your way, Lord; I will walk in Your truth; Unite my heart to fear Your name.
And we know that the Son of God has come, and he has given us understanding so that we can know the true God. And now we live in fellowship with the true God because we live in fellowship with his Son, Jesus Christ. He is the only true God, and he is eternal life. And we know that the Son of God has come, and has given us understanding so that we may know Him who is true; and we are in Him who is true, in His Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God and eternal life.
Surely your goodness and unfailing love will pursue me all the days of my life, and I will live in the house of the Lord forever.Certainly goodness and faithfulness will follow me all the days of my life, And my dwelling will be in the house of the Lord forever.
So we are lying if we say we have fellowship with God but go on living in spiritual darkness; we are not practicing the truth. If we say that we have fellowship with Him and yet walk in the darkness, we lie and do not practice the truth.
The one thing I ask of the Lord— the thing I seek most— is to live in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, delighting in the Lord’s perfections and meditating in his Temple. One thing I have asked from the Lord, that I shall seek: That I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, To behold the beauty of the Lord And to meditate in His temple.
So let’s stop condemning each other. Decide instead to live in such a way that you will not cause another believer to stumble and fall. Therefore let’s not judge one another anymore, but rather determine this: not to put an obstacle or a stumbling block in a brother’s or sister’s way.
Don’t team up with those who are unbelievers. How can righteousness be a partner with wickedness? How can light live with darkness?Do not be mismatched with unbelievers; for what do righteousness and lawlessness share together, or what does light have in common with darkness?
Those who live in the shelter of the Most High will find rest in the shadow of the Almighty. This I declare about the Lord: He alone is my refuge, my place of safety; he is my God, and I trust him.One who dwells in the shelter of the Most High Will lodge in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say to the Lord, “My refuge and my fortress, My God, in whom I trust!”
If someone has enough money to live well and sees a brother or sister in need but shows no compassion—how can God’s love be in that person? But whoever has worldly goods and sees his brother or sister in need, and closes his heart against him, how does the love of God remain in him?
We are human, but we don’t wage war as humans do.For though we walk in the flesh, we do not wage battle according to the flesh.
And let the peace that comes from Christ rule in your hearts. For as members of one body you are called to live in peace. And always be thankful.Let the peace of Christ, to which you were indeed called in one body, rule in your hearts; and be thankful.
Keep the commandments and keep your life; despising them leads to death. One who keeps the commandment keeps his soul, But one who is careless of conduct will die.
You have six days each week for your ordinary work, but the seventh day is a Sabbath day of complete rest, an official day for holy assembly. It is the Lord’s Sabbath day, and it must be observed wherever you live. For six days work may be done, but on the seventh day there is a Sabbath of complete rest, a holy convocation. You shall not do any work; it is a Sabbath to the Lord in all your dwellings.
In peace I will lie down and sleep, for you alone, O Lord, will keep me safe.In peace I will both lie down and sleep, For You alone, Lord, have me dwell in safety.

I’m torn between two desires: I long to go and be with Christ, which would be far better for me. But for your sakes, it is better that I continue to live. But I am hard-pressed from both directions, having the desire to depart and be with Christ, for that is very much better; yet to remain on in the flesh is more necessary for your sakes.
