- For there is born to you today, in David’s city, a Savior, who is Christ the Lord.

- So that with good courage we say,
“The Lord is my helper. I will not fear.
What can man do to me?” - For you, Lord, are good, and ready to forgive,
abundant in loving kindness to all those who call on you. - Follow after peace with all men, and the sanctification without which no man will see the Lord.
- For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.
- If I then, the Lord and the Teacher, have washed your feet, you also ought to wash one another’s feet.
- And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
- For Yahweh is our judge.
Yahweh is our lawgiver.
Yahweh is our king.
He will save us. - For our citizenship is in heaven, from where we also wait for a Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ.
- For the Lord himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel and with God’s trumpet. The dead in Christ will rise first, then we who are alive, who are left, will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. So we will be with the Lord forever.
- “For I have no pleasure in the death of him who dies,” says the Lord Yahweh. “Therefore turn yourselves, and live!”
- God is faithful, through whom you were called into the fellowship of his Son, Jesus Christ our Lord.
