For which one of you, when he wants to build a tower, does not first sit down and calculate the cost, to see if he has enough to complete it?For which of you, intending to build a tower, sitteth not down first, and counteth the cost, whether he have sufficient to finish it?
I tell you that in the same way, there will be more joy in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine righteous people who have no need of repentance.I say unto you, that likewise joy shall be in heaven over one sinner that repenteth, more than over ninety and nine just persons, which need no repentance.
In the same way, I tell you, there is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner who repents.Likewise, I say unto you, there is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner that repenteth.
And in Hades he raised his eyes, being in torment, and saw Abraham far away and Lazarus in his arms. And if he trespass against thee seven times in a day, and seven times in a day turn again to thee, saying, I repent; thou shalt forgive him.
But the tax collector, standing some distance away, was even unwilling to raise his eyes toward heaven, but was beating his chest, saying, ‘God, be merciful to me, the sinner!’And the publican, standing afar off, would not lift up so much as his eyes unto heaven, but smote upon his breast, saying, God be merciful to me a sinner.
But He said, “The things that are impossible with people are possible with God.”And he said, The things which are impossible with men are possible with God.
For the Son of Man has come to seek and to save that which was lost.For the Son of man is come to seek and to save that which was lost.
And when He had taken some bread and given thanks, He broke it and gave it to them, saying, “This is My body, which is being given for you; do this in remembrance of Me.”And he took bread, and gave thanks, and brake it, and gave unto them, saying, This is my body which is given for you: this do in remembrance of me.
And in the same way He took the cup after they had eaten, saying, “This cup, which is poured out for you, is the new covenant in My blood.”Likewise also the cup after supper, saying, This cup is the new testament in my blood, which is shed for you.
But Jesus was saying, “Father, forgive them; for they do not know what they are doing.” And they cast lots, dividing His garments among themselves.Then said Jesus, Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do. And they parted his raiment, and cast lots.
And Jesus, crying out with a loud voice, said, “Father, into Your hands I entrust My spirit.” And having said this, He died.And when Jesus had cried with a loud voice, he said, Father, into thy hands I commend my spirit: and having said thus, he gave up the ghost.
He is not here, but He has risen. Remember how He spoke to you while He was still in Galilee, saying that the Son of Man must be handed over to sinful men, and be crucified, and on the third day rise from the dead.He is not here, but is risen: remember how he spake unto you when he was yet in Galilee, Saying, The Son of man must be delivered into the hands of sinful men, and be crucified, and the third day rise again.
And He led them out as far as Bethany, and He lifted up His hands and blessed them. The angel answered and said to her, “The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you; for that reason also the holy Child will be called the Son of God.”And the angel answered and said unto her, The Holy Ghost shall come upon thee, and the power of the Highest shall overshadow thee: therefore also that holy thing which shall be born of thee shall be called the Son of God.
For nothing will be impossible with God.For with God nothing shall be impossible.
Now Joseph also went up from Galilee, from the city of Nazareth, to Judea, to the city of David which is called Bethlehem, because he was of the house and family of David, in order to register along with Mary, who was betrothed to him, and was pregnant.And Joseph also went up from Galilee, out of the city of Nazareth, into Judaea, unto the city of David, which is called Bethlehem; (because he was of the house and lineage of David:) To be taxed with Mary his espoused wife, being great with child.
While they were there, the time came for her to give birth. And she gave birth to her firstborn son; and she wrapped Him in cloths, and laid Him in a manger, because there was no room for them in the inn.And so it was, that, while they were there, the days were accomplished that she should be delivered. And she brought forth her firstborn son, and wrapped him in swaddling clothes, and laid him in a manger; because there was no room for them in the inn.
And so the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid; for behold, I bring you good news of great joy which will be for all the people.”And the angel said unto them, Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people.
For today in the city of David there has been born for you a Savior, who is Christ the Lord.For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord.
Glory to God in the highest, And on earth peace among people with whom He is pleased.Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men.
And the shepherds went back, glorifying and praising God for all that they had heard and seen, just as had been told them.And the shepherds returned, glorifying and praising God for all the things that they had heard and seen, as it was told unto them.
And he would answer and say to them, “The one who has two tunics is to share with the one who has none; and the one who has food is to do likewise.”He answereth and saith unto them, He that hath two coats, let him impart to him that hath none; and he that hath meat, let him do likewise.
Now when all the people were baptized, Jesus also was baptized, and while He was praying, heaven was opened, and the Holy Spirit descended upon Him in bodily form like a dove, and a voice came from heaven: “You are My beloved Son, in You I am well pleased.”Now when all the people were baptized, it came to pass, that Jesus also being baptized, and praying, the heaven was opened, And the Holy Ghost descended in a bodily shape like a dove upon him, and a voice came from heaven, which said, Thou art my beloved Son; in thee I am well pleased.

Now Jesus, full of the Holy Spirit, returned from the Jordan and was led around by the Spirit in the wilderness for forty days, being tempted by the devil. And He ate nothing during those days, and when they had ended, He was hungry.And Jesus being full of the Holy Ghost returned from Jordan, and was led by the Spirit into the wilderness, Being forty days tempted of the devil. And in those days he did eat nothing: and when they were ended, he afterward hungered.
