| The Lord God then formed a woman out of the rib that he had taken from the man. He brought her before the man. The man said, “This one is bone of my bones and flesh of my flesh. So they are no longer two, but one flesh. Therefore, what God has joined together, no person is to separate.” |
| Jesus said, “Amen, amen, I say to you, no one can enter the kingdom of God unless he is born of water and the Spirit.” | Jesus answered, “Truly, truly, I say to you, unless someone is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God.” |
| Come to your senses and sin no more. For some of you have no knowledge of God. I say this to your shame. | Sober up morally and stop sinning, for some have no knowledge of God. I say this to your shame. |
| Then, after he had spoken to them, the Lord Jesus was taken up into heaven, and there he took his place at the right hand of God. | So then, when the Lord Jesus had spoken to them, He was received up into heaven and sat down at the right hand of God. |
| The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ and the love of God and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all. | The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit, be with you all. |
| I write these things to you who believe in the name of the Son of God so that you may know that you have eternal life. | These things I have written to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, so that you may know that you have eternal life. |
