If a man has recently been married, he is not to go off to battle nor have any other duty laid on him. Those who place their hope in the Lord will regain their strength. They will soar as with eagles’ wings, they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not become faint. Isaiah 40:31	But those who wait on the Lord Shall renew their strength; They shall mount up with wings like eagles, They shall run and not be weary, They shall walk and not faint. hope encouragement strength
Not because of any righteous deeds on our part but because of his mercy, he saved us through the bath of rebirth and renewal by the Holy Spirit. I have told you this so that in me you may be in peace. In the world you will endure suffering. But take courage! I have overcome the world. He was despised and shunned by others, a man of sorrows who was no stranger to suffering. We loathed him and regarded him as of no account, as one from whom men avert their gaze. Isaiah 53:3	He is despised and rejected by men, A Man of sorrows and acquainted with grief. Who has performed these deeds and accomplished this? Who has summoned the nations from the beginning? I, the Lord, am the first, and I will be there with the last. But the Lord said to Samuel, “Do not consider his appearance or how tall he stands, for the Lord has rejected him. He does not see the way that men see, for men look on the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart.” 1 Samuel 16:7	But the Lord said to Samuel, “Do not look at his appearance or at his physical stature, because I have refused him. For the Lord does not see as man sees; for man looks at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart.” beauty heart pride
Whenever you fast, do not assume a gloomy expression like the hypocrites who contort their faces so that others may realize that they are fasting. Amen, I say to you, they have received their reward. Matthew 6:16	Moreover, when you fast, do not be like the hypocrites, with a sad countenance. For they disfigure their faces that they may appear to men to be fasting. You have been born anew, not of perishable but of imperishable seed, through the living and enduring word of God. 1 Peter 1:23	Having been born again, not of corruptible seed but incorruptible, through the word of God which lives and abides forever. rebirth Word of God
Through faith you are all children of God in Christ Jesus. For all of you who were baptized into Christ have clothed yourselves in Christ. Galatians 3:26-27	For you are all sons of God through faith in Christ Jesus. For as many of you as were baptized into Christ have put on Christ. faith baptism children
But Jesus has now received a ministry that is far superior, for he is the mediator of a far better covenant that has been established on better promises. Hebrews 8:6	But now He has obtained a more excellent ministry, inasmuch as He is also Mediator of a better covenant, which was established on better promises. Jesus covenant mediator
Do not be conformed to the world, but be transformed by the renewal of your minds, so that you will be able to discern the will of God and to know what is good and acceptable and perfect. Romans 12:2	And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God. blameless obedience life
Nor should you present any part of your body as an instrument for wickedness leading to sin. Rather, present yourselves to God as having been raised from death to life and the parts of your body to God as instruments for righteousness. Likewise, you who are husbands must show consideration for your wives in your life together. Treat your wife with respect, for even though she is the weaker partner, she is also an equal heir of God’s gift of life. Thus, your prayers will not be hindered in any way. 1 Peter 3:7	Husbands, likewise, dwell with them with understanding, giving honor to the wife, as to the weaker vessel, and as being heirs together of the grace of life, that your prayers may not be hindered. marriage prayer grace

For the love of Christ urges us forward, once we conclude that one has died for all, and therefore all have died.
