All this is from God, who reconciled us to himself through Christ, and has given us the ministry of reconciliation. 2 Corinthians 5:18	And all of this is a gift from God, who brought us back to himself through Christ. There is no fear in love, but perfect love casts out fear; for fear has to do with punishment, and whoever fears has not reached perfection in love. 1 John 4:18	Such love has no fear, because perfect love expels all fear. For “no human being will be justified in his sight” by deeds prescribed by the law, for through the law comes the knowledge of sin.

For no one can ever be made right with God by doing what the law commands. The law simply shows us how sinful we are.
