It is a snare for one to say rashly, “It is holy,” and begin to reflect only after making a vow.It is a snare to a man to make a rash dedication, then later to consider his vows.
All deeds are right in the sight of the doer, but the Lord weighs the heart.Every way of a man is right in his own eyes, but Yahweh weighs the hearts.
To do righteousness and justice is more acceptable to the Lord than sacrifice. To do righteousness and justice is more acceptable to Yahweh than sacrifice.
