Psalm 149:4 (2/9)

For who is God save the Lord? or who is a rock save our God?For who is God except the Lord? And who is a rock besides our God?
Thou hast also given me the shield of thy salvation: and thy right hand hath holden me up, and thy gentleness hath made me great. Thou hast enlarged my steps under me, that my feet did not slip.You have given me the shield of your salvation, and your right hand has supported me; your help has made me great. You gave me a wide place for my steps under me, and my feet did not slip.
The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament sheweth his handywork. Day unto day uttereth speech, and night unto night sheweth knowledge.The heavens are telling the glory of God; and the firmament proclaims his handiwork. Day to day pours forth speech, and night to night declares knowledge.
The law of the Lord is perfect, converting the soul: the testimony of the Lord is sure, making wise the simple.The law of the Lord is perfect, reviving the soul; the decrees of the Lord are sure, making wise the simple.
The statutes of the Lord are right, rejoicing the heart: the commandment of the Lord is pure, enlightening the eyes.The precepts of the Lord are right, rejoicing the heart; the commandment of the Lord is clear, enlightening the eyes.
Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in thy sight, O Lord, my strength, and my redeemer.Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable to you, O Lord, my rock and my redeemer.
Grant thee according to thine own heart, and fulfil all thy counsel.May he grant you your heart's desire, and fulfill all your plans.
Some trust in chariots, and some in horses: but we will remember the name of the Lord our God.Some take pride in chariots, and some in horses, but our pride is in the name of the Lord our God.

Remember, O Lord, thy tender mercies and thy lovingkindnesses; for they have been ever of old. Remember not the sins of my youth, nor my transgressions: according to thy mercy remember thou me for thy goodness' sake, O Lord.Be mindful of your mercy, O Lord, and of your steadfast love, for they have been from of old. Do not remember the sins of my youth or my transgressions; according to your steadfast love remember me, for your goodness' sake, O Lord!
Good and upright is the Lord: therefore will he teach sinners in the way. The meek will he guide in judgment: and the meek will he teach his way.Good and upright is the Lord; therefore he instructs sinners in the way. He leads the humble in what is right, and teaches the humble his way.

Though an host should encamp against me, my heart shall not fear: though war should rise against me, in this will I be confident.Though an army encamp against me, my heart shall not fear; though war rise up against me, yet I will be confident.
One thing have I desired of the Lord, that will I seek after; that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the Lord, and to enquire in his temple.One thing I asked of the Lord, that will I seek after: to live in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the Lord, and to inquire in his temple.
I had fainted, unless I had believed to see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living.I believe that I shall see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living.
Wait on the Lord: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the Lord.Wait for the Lord; be strong, and let your heart take courage; wait for the Lord!
The Lord is my strength and my shield; my heart trusted in him, and I am helped: therefore my heart greatly rejoiceth; and with my song will I praise him.The Lord is my strength and my shield; in him my heart trusts; so I am helped, and my heart exults, and with my song I give thanks to him.
The Lord will give strength unto his people; the Lord will bless his people with peace.May the Lord give strength to his people! May the Lord bless his people with peace!
