You have given me the shield of your salvation, and your right hand supported me, and your gentleness made me great. You gave a wide place for my steps under me, and my feet did not slip.You have given me your shield of victory. Your right hand supports me; your help has made me great. You have made a wide path for my feet to keep them from slipping.
The heavens declare the glory of God, and the sky above proclaims his handiwork. Day to day pours out speech, and night to night reveals knowledge.The heavens proclaim the glory of God. The skies display his craftsmanship. Day after day they continue to speak; night after night they make him known.
The law of the Lord is perfect, reviving the soul; the testimony of the Lord is sure, making wise the simple.The instructions of the Lord are perfect, reviving the soul. The decrees of the Lord are trustworthy, making wise the simple.
The precepts of the Lord are right, rejoicing the heart; the commandment of the Lord is pure, enlightening the eyes.The commandments of the Lord are right, bringing joy to the heart. The commands of the Lord are clear, giving insight for living.
Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable in your sight, O Lord, my rock and my redeemer.May the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be pleasing to you, O Lord, my rock and my redeemer.
May he grant you your heart's desire and fulfill all your plans!May he grant your heart’s desires and make all your plans succeed.
Some trust in chariots and some in horses, but we trust in the name of the Lord our God.Some nations boast of their chariots and horses, but we boast in the name of the Lord our God.

Make me to know your ways, O Lord; teach me your paths.Show me the right path, O Lord; point out the road for me to follow.
Lead me in your truth and teach me, for you are the God of my salvation; for you I wait all the day long.Lead me by your truth and teach me, for you are the God who saves me. All day long I put my hope in you.
Remember your mercy, O Lord, and your steadfast love, for they have been from of old. Remember not the sins of my youth or my transgressions; according to your steadfast love remember me, for the sake of your goodness, O Lord!Remember, O Lord, your compassion and unfailing love, which you have shown from long ages past. Do not remember the rebellious sins of my youth. Remember me in the light of your unfailing love, for you are merciful, O Lord.
Good and upright is the Lord; therefore he instructs sinners in the way. He leads the humble in what is right, and teaches the humble his way.The Lord is good and does what is right; he shows the proper path to those who go astray. He leads the humble in doing right, teaching them his way.
The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? The Lord is the stronghold of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?The Lord is my light and my salvation— so why should I be afraid? The Lord is my fortress, protecting me from danger, so why should I tremble?
Though an army encamp against me, my heart shall not fear; though war arise against me, yet I will be confident.Though a mighty army surrounds me, my heart will not be afraid. Even if I am attacked, I will remain confident.
One thing have I asked of the Lord, that will I seek after: that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, to gaze upon the beauty of the Lord and to inquire in his temple.The one thing I ask of the Lord— the thing I seek most— is to live in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, delighting in the Lord’s perfections and meditating in his Temple.
I believe that I shall look upon the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living!Yet I am confident I will see the Lord’s goodness while I am here in the land of the living.
Wait for the Lord; be strong, and let your heart take courage; wait for the Lord!Wait patiently for the Lord. Be brave and courageous. Yes, wait patiently for the Lord.
The Lord is my strength and my shield; in him my heart trusts, and I am helped; my heart exults, and with my song I give thanks to him.The Lord is my strength and shield. I trust him with all my heart. He helps me, and my heart is filled with joy. I burst out in songs of thanksgiving.
May the Lord give strength to his people! May the Lord bless his people with peace!The Lord gives his people strength. The Lord blesses them with peace.
For his anger is but for a moment, and his favor is for a lifetime. Weeping may tarry for the night, but joy comes with the morning.For his anger lasts only a moment, but his favor lasts a lifetime! Weeping may last through the night, but joy comes with the morning.
In you, O Lord, do I take refuge; let me never be put to shame; in your righteousness deliver me!O Lord, I have come to you for protection; don’t let me be disgraced. Save me, for you do what is right.
