Psalm 150 (4/9)

The righteous person faces many troubles, but the Lord comes to the rescue each time. Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the Lord delivers him out of them all.
But the Lord will redeem those who serve him. No one who takes refuge in him will be condemned. The Lord redeems the life of his servants; none of those who take refuge in him will be condemned.
Trust in the Lord and do good. Then you will live safely in the land and prosper.Trust in the Lord, and do good; dwell in the land and befriend faithfulness.
Take delight in the Lord, and he will give you your heart’s desires.Delight yourself in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart.
Commit everything you do to the Lord. Trust him, and he will help you. He will make your innocence radiate like the dawn, and the justice of your cause will shine like the noonday sun.Commit your way to the Lord; trust in him, and he will act. He will bring forth your righteousness as the light, and your justice as the noonday.
Be still in the presence of the Lord, and wait patiently for him to act. Don’t worry about evil people who prosper or fret about their wicked schemes.Be still before the Lord and wait patiently for him; fret not yourself over the one who prospers in his way, over the man who carries out evil devices!
It is better to be godly and have little than to be evil and rich. For the strength of the wicked will be shattered, but the Lord takes care of the godly.Better is the little that the righteous has than the abundance of many wicked. For the arms of the wicked shall be broken, but the Lord upholds the righteous.
The wicked borrow and never repay, but the godly are generous givers. The wicked borrows but does not pay back, but the righteous is generous and gives.
The Lord directs the steps of the godly. He delights in every detail of their lives. The steps of a man are established by the Lord, when he delights in his way.
For the Lord loves justice, and he will never abandon the godly. He will keep them safe forever, but the children of the wicked will die.For the Lord loves justice; he will not forsake his saints. They are preserved forever, but the children of the wicked shall be cut off.
You know what I long for, Lord; you hear my every sigh.O Lord, all my longing is before you; my sighing is not hidden from you.
Hear my prayer, O Lord! Listen to my cries for help! Don’t ignore my tears. For I am your guest— a traveler passing through, as my ancestors were before me.Hear my prayer, O Lord, and give ear to my cry; hold not your peace at my tears! For I am a sojourner with you, a guest, like all my fathers.
I take joy in doing your will, my God, for your instructions are written on my heart.I delight to do your will, O my God; your law is within my heart.
Lord, don’t hold back your tender mercies from me. Let your unfailing love and faithfulness always protect me.As for you, O Lord, you will not restrain your mercy from me; your steadfast love and your faithfulness will ever preserve me!
As the deer longs for streams of water, so I long for you, O God.As a deer pants for flowing streams, so pants my soul for you, O God.
I thirst for God, the living God. When can I go and stand before him?My soul thirsts for God, for the living God. When shall I come and appear before God?
I hear the tumult of the raging seas as your waves and surging tides sweep over me.Deep calls to deep at the roar of your waterfalls; all your breakers and your waves have gone over me.
But each day the Lord pours his unfailing love upon me, and through each night I sing his songs, praying to God who gives me life.By day the Lord commands his steadfast love, and at night his song is with me, a prayer to the God of my life.
Why am I discouraged? Why is my heart so sad? I will put my hope in God! I will praise him again— my Savior and my God!Why are you cast down, O my soul, and why are you in turmoil within me? Hope in God; for I shall again praise him, my salvation and my God.
They did not conquer the land with their swords; it was not their own strong arm that gave them victory. It was your right hand and strong arm and the blinding light from your face that helped them, for you loved them. For not by their own sword did they win the land, nor did their own arm save them, but your right hand and your arm, and the light of your face, for you delighted in them.
God is our refuge and strength, always ready to help in times of trouble.God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.
Be still, and know that I am God! I will be honored by every nation. I will be honored throughout the world.Be still, and know that I am God. I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth!
Have mercy on me, O God, because of your unfailing love. Because of your great compassion, blot out the stain of my sins. Wash me clean from my guilt. Purify me from my sin.Have mercy on me, O God, according to your steadfast love; according to your abundant mercy blot out my transgressions. Wash me thoroughly from my iniquity, and cleanse me from my sin!
Create in me a clean heart, O God. Renew a loyal spirit within me.Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a right spirit within me.
The sacrifice you desire is a broken spirit. You will not reject a broken and repentant heart, O God.The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit; a broken and contrite heart, O God, you will not despise.

But God is my helper. The Lord keeps me alive!Behold, God is my helper; the Lord is the upholder of my life.
