Psalm 46 (5/9)

O Lord, you have searched me and known me. You know when I sit down and when I rise up; you discern my thoughts from far away.O Lord, thou hast searched me, and known me. Thou knowest my downsitting and mine uprising, thou understandest my thought afar off.
Even before a word is on my tongue, O Lord, you know it completely. For there is not a word in my tongue, but, lo, O Lord, thou knowest it altogether.
Where can I go from your spirit? Or where can I flee from your presence? If I ascend to heaven, you are there; if I make my bed in Sheol, you are there.Whither shall I go from thy spirit? or whither shall I flee from thy presence? If I ascend up into heaven, thou art there: if I make my bed in hell, behold, thou art there.
For it was you who formed my inward parts; you knit me together in my mother's womb. I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Wonderful are your works; that I know very well. For thou hast possessed my reins: thou hast covered me in my mother's womb. I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvellous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well.
Search me, O God, and know my heart; test me and know my thoughts. See if there is any wicked way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting.Search me, O God, and know my heart: try me, and know my thoughts: And see if there be any wicked way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting.
Hear my prayer, O Lord; give ear to my supplications in your faithfulness; answer me in your righteousness.Hear my prayer, O Lord, give ear to my supplications: in thy faithfulness answer me, and in thy righteousness.
I stretch out my hands to you; my soul thirsts for you like a parched land. SelahI stretch forth my hands unto thee: my soul thirsteth after thee, as a thirsty land. Selah.
Let me hear of your steadfast love in the morning, for in you I put my trust. Teach me the way I should go, for to you I lift up my soul.Cause me to hear thy lovingkindness in the morning; for in thee do I trust: cause me to know the way wherein I should walk; for I lift up my soul unto thee.
Teach me to do your will, for you are my God. Let your good spirit lead me on a level path.Teach me to do thy will; for thou art my God: thy spirit is good; lead me into the land of uprightness.
I will extol you, my God and King, and bless your name forever and ever.I will extol thee, my God, O king; and I will bless thy name for ever and ever.
Great is the Lord, and greatly to be praised; his greatness is unsearchable.Great is the Lord, and greatly to be praised; and his greatness is unsearchable.
The Lord is just in all his ways, and kind in all his doings. The Lord is righteous in all his ways, and holy in all his works.
The Lord is near to all who call on him, to all who call on him in truth. The Lord is nigh unto all them that call upon him, to all that call upon him in truth.
The Lord opens the eyes of the blind. The Lord lifts up those who are bowed down; the Lord loves the righteous. The Lord openeth the eyes of the blind: the Lord raiseth them that are bowed down: the Lord loveth the righteous.
The Lord watches over the strangers; he upholds the orphan and the widow, but the way of the wicked he brings to ruin. The Lord preserveth the strangers; he relieveth the fatherless and widow: but the way of the wicked he turneth upside down.
He heals the brokenhearted, and binds up their wounds. He healeth the broken in heart, and bindeth up their wounds.
For the Lord takes pleasure in his people; he adorns the humble with victory. For the Lord taketh pleasure in his people: he will beautify the meek with salvation.
Let everything that breathes praise the Lord! Praise the Lord!Let every thing that hath breath praise the Lord. Praise ye the Lord.
Happy are those who do not follow the advice of the wicked, or take the path that sinners tread, or sit in the seat of scoffers.Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful.
But you, O Lord, are a shield around me, my glory, and the one who lifts up my head. But thou, O Lord, art a shield for me; my glory, and the lifter up of mine head.
Deliverance belongs to the Lord; may your blessing be on your people! SelahSalvation belongeth unto the Lord: thy blessing is upon thy people. Selah.
I will both lie down and sleep in peace; for you alone, O Lord, make me lie down in safety.I will both lay me down in peace, and sleep: for thou, Lord, only makest me dwell in safety.
O Lord, in the morning you hear my voice; in the morning I plead my case to you, and watch. My voice shalt thou hear in the morning, O Lord; in the morning will I direct my prayer unto thee, and will look up.
For you bless the righteous, O Lord; you cover them with favor as with a shield. For thou, Lord, wilt bless the righteous; with favour wilt thou compass him as with a shield.
What are human beings that you are mindful of them, mortals that you care for them? What is man, that thou art mindful of him? and the son of man, that thou visitest him?

I will give thanks to the Lord with my whole heart; I will tell of all your wonderful deeds.I will praise thee, O Lord, with my whole heart; I will shew forth all thy marvellous works.
