Psalm 46 (5/9)

O Lord, you have searched me and known me. You know when I sit down and when I rise up; you discern my thoughts from far away.You have searched me, Lord, and you know me. You know when I sit and when I rise; you perceive my thoughts from afar.
Even before a word is on my tongue, O Lord, you know it completely.Before a word is on my tongue you, Lord, know it completely.
Where can I go from your spirit? Or where can I flee from your presence? If I ascend to heaven, you are there; if I make my bed in Sheol, you are there.Where can I go from your Spirit? Where can I flee from your presence? If I go up to the heavens, you are there; if I make my bed in the depths, you are there.
For it was you who formed my inward parts; you knit me together in my mother's womb. I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Wonderful are your works; that I know very well.For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well.
Search me, O God, and know my heart; test me and know my thoughts. See if there is any wicked way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting.Search me, God, and know my heart; test me and know my anxious thoughts. See if there is any offensive way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting.
Hear my prayer, O Lord; give ear to my supplications in your faithfulness; answer me in your righteousness.Lord, hear my prayer, listen to my cry for mercy; in your faithfulness and righteousness come to my relief.
I stretch out my hands to you; my soul thirsts for you like a parched land. SelahI spread out my hands to you; I thirst for you like a parched land.
Let me hear of your steadfast love in the morning, for in you I put my trust. Teach me the way I should go, for to you I lift up my soul.Let the morning bring me word of your unfailing love, for I have put my trust in you. Show me the way I should go, for to you I entrust my life.

I will extol you, my God and King, and bless your name forever and ever.I will exalt you, my God the King; I will praise your name for ever and ever.
Great is the Lord, and greatly to be praised; his greatness is unsearchable.Great is the Lord and most worthy of praise; his greatness no one can fathom.
The Lord is just in all his ways, and kind in all his doings.The Lord is righteous in all his ways and faithful in all he does.

The Lord watches over the strangers; he upholds the orphan and the widow, but the way of the wicked he brings to ruin.The Lord watches over the foreigner and sustains the fatherless and the widow, but he frustrates the ways of the wicked.

Happy are those who do not follow the advice of the wicked, or take the path that sinners tread, or sit in the seat of scoffers.Blessed is the one who does not walk in step with the wicked or stand in the way that sinners take or sit in the company of mockers.
But you, O Lord, are a shield around me, my glory, and the one who lifts up my head.But you, Lord, are a shield around me, my glory, the One who lifts my head high.
Deliverance belongs to the Lord; may your blessing be on your people! SelahFrom the Lord comes deliverance. May your blessing be on your people.
