Psalm 46 (4/9)

I treasure your word in my heart, so that I may not sin against you.I have hidden your word in my heart, that I might not sin against you.
I delight in the way of your decrees as much as in all riches.I have rejoiced in your laws as much as in riches.
I have chosen the way of faithfulness; I set your ordinances before me.I have chosen to be faithful; I have determined to live by your regulations.
Turn my heart to your decrees, and not to selfish gain.Give me an eagerness for your laws rather than a love for money!
I shall walk at liberty, for I have sought your precepts.I will walk in freedom, for I have devoted myself to your commandments.
I hurry and do not delay to keep your commandments.I will hurry, without delay, to obey your commands.
I will never forget your precepts, for by them you have given me life.I will never forget your commandments, for by them you give me life.
Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.Your word is a lamp to guide my feet and a light for my path.
Your decrees are my heritage forever; they are the joy of my heart.Your laws are my treasure; they are my heart’s delight.
You are my hiding place and my shield; I hope in your word. You are my refuge and my shield; your word is my source of hope.
The unfolding of your words gives light; it imparts understanding to the simple. The teaching of your word gives light, so even the simple can understand.
Keep my steps steady according to your promise, and never let iniquity have dominion over me.Guide my steps by your word, so I will not be overcome by evil.
The sum of your word is truth; and every one of your righteous ordinances endures forever. The very essence of your words is truth; all your just regulations will stand forever.
Great peace have those who love your law; nothing can make them stumble. Those who love your instructions have great peace and do not stumble.
Deliver me, O Lord, from lying lips, from a deceitful tongue.Rescue me, O Lord, from liars and from all deceitful people.
I lift up my eyes to the hills— from where will my help come? My help comes from the Lord, who made heaven and earth.I look up to the mountains— does my help come from there? My help comes from the Lord, who made heaven and earth!
He will not let your foot be moved; he who keeps you will not slumber. He will not let you stumble; the one who watches over you will not slumber.
The Lord will keep you from all evil; he will keep your life. The Lord will keep your going out and your coming in from this time on and forevermore. The Lord keeps you from all harm and watches over your life. The Lord keeps watch over you as you come and go, both now and forever.
Our help is in the name of the Lord, who made heaven and earth. Our help is from the Lord, who made heaven and earth.
Unless the Lord builds the house, those who build it labor in vain. Unless the Lord guards the city, the guard keeps watch in vain.Unless the Lord builds a house, the work of the builders is wasted. Unless the Lord protects a city, guarding it with sentries will do no good.
Happy is everyone who fears the Lord, who walks in his ways. How joyful are those who fear the Lord— all who follow his ways!
Out of the depths I cry to you, O Lord. Lord, hear my voice! Let your ears be attentive to the voice of my supplications! From the depths of despair, O Lord, I call for your help. Hear my cry, O Lord. Pay attention to my prayer.
I wait for the Lord, my soul waits, and in his word I hope.I am counting on the Lord; yes, I am counting on him. I have put my hope in his word.
How very good and pleasant it is when kindred live together in unity! How wonderful and pleasant it is when brothers live together in harmony!
The Lord will fulfill his purpose for me; your steadfast love, O Lord, endures forever. Do not forsake the work of your hands. The Lord will work out his plans for my life— for your faithful love, O Lord, endures forever. Don’t abandon me, for you made me.

O Lord, you have searched me and known me. You know when I sit down and when I rise up; you discern my thoughts from far away.O Lord, you have examined my heart and know everything about me. You know when I sit down or stand up. You know my thoughts even when I’m far away.
