Psalm 71 (3/9)

I have rejoiced in the way of Your testimonies, As much as in all riches.I have rejoiced in the way of thy testimonies, as much as in all riches.
I have chosen the faithful way; I have placed Your judgments before me.I have chosen the way of truth: thy judgments have I laid before me.
Incline my heart to Your testimonies, And not to dishonest gain.Incline my heart unto thy testimonies, and not to covetousness.
And I will walk at liberty, For I seek Your precepts. And I will walk at liberty: for I seek thy precepts.
I hurried and did not delay To keep Your commandments.I made haste, and delayed not to keep thy commandments.
I will never forget Your precepts, For by them You have revived me.I will never forget thy precepts: for with them thou hast quickened me.
Your word is a lamp to my feet And a light to my path.Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.
I have inherited Your testimonies forever, For they are the joy of my heart.Thy testimonies have I taken as an heritage for ever: for they are the rejoicing of my heart.
You are my hiding place and my shield; I wait for Your word.Thou art my hiding place and my shield: I hope in thy word.
The unfolding of Your words gives light; It gives understanding to the simple. The entrance of thy words giveth light; it giveth understanding unto the simple.
Establish my footsteps in Your word, And do not let any wrongdoing have power over me.Order my steps in thy word: and let not any iniquity have dominion over me.
The sum of Your word is truth, And every one of Your righteous judgments is everlasting.Thy word is true from the beginning: and every one of thy righteous judgments endureth for ever.
Those who love Your Law have great peace, And nothing causes them to stumble.Great peace have they which love thy law: and nothing shall offend them.
Rescue my soul, Lord, from lying lips, From a deceitful tongue.Deliver my soul, O Lord, from lying lips, and from a deceitful tongue.
I will raise my eyes to the mountains; From where will my help come? My help comes from the Lord, Who made heaven and earth.I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help. My help cometh from the Lord, which made heaven and earth.
He will not allow your foot to slip; He who watches over you will not slumber. He will not suffer thy foot to be moved: he that keepeth thee will not slumber.
The Lord will protect you from all evil; He will keep your soul. The Lord will guard your going out and your coming in From this time and forever. The Lord shall preserve thee from all evil: he shall preserve thy soul. The Lord shall preserve thy going out and thy coming in from this time forth, and even for evermore.
Our help is in the name of the Lord, Who made heaven and earth. Our help is in the name of the Lord, who made heaven and earth.
Unless the Lord builds a house, They who build it labor in vain; Unless the Lord guards a city, The watchman stays awake in vain.Except the Lord build the house, they labour in vain that build it: except the Lord keep the city, the watchman waketh but in vain.
Blessed is everyone who fears the Lord, Who walks in His ways.Blessed is every one that feareth the Lord; that walketh in his ways.
Out of the depths I have cried to You, Lord. Lord, hear my voice! Let Your ears be attentive To the sound of my pleadings.Out of the depths have I cried unto thee, O Lord. Lord, hear my voice: let thine ears be attentive to the voice of my supplications.
I wait for the Lord, my soul waits, And I wait for His word.I wait for the Lord, my soul doth wait, and in his word do I hope.
Behold, how good and how pleasant it is For brothers to live together in unity!Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity!
The Lord will accomplish what concerns me; Your faithfulness, Lord, is everlasting; Do not abandon the works of Your hands. The Lord will perfect that which concerneth me: thy mercy, O Lord, endureth for ever: forsake not the works of thine own hands.
Lord, You have searched me and known me. You know when I sit down and when I get up; You understand my thought from far away.O Lord, thou hast searched me, and known me. Thou knowest my downsitting and mine uprising, thou understandest my thought afar off.

Even before there is a word on my tongue, Behold, Lord, You know it all.For there is not a word in my tongue, but, lo, O Lord, thou knowest it altogether.
