Psalm 71 (4/9)

For there is not a word on my tongue, But behold, O Lord, You know it altogether.For there is not a word in my tongue, but, lo, O Lord, thou knowest it altogether.
Where can I go from Your Spirit? Or where can I flee from Your presence? If I ascend into heaven, You are there; If I make my bed in hell, behold, You are there.Whither shall I go from thy spirit? or whither shall I flee from thy presence? If I ascend up into heaven, thou art there: if I make my bed in hell, behold, thou art there.
For You formed my inward parts; You covered me in my mother’s womb. I will praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made; Marvelous are Your works, And that my soul knows very well.For thou hast possessed my reins: thou hast covered me in my mother's womb. I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvellous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well.
Search me, O God, and know my heart; Try me, and know my anxieties; And see if there is any wicked way in me, And lead me in the way everlasting.Search me, O God, and know my heart: try me, and know my thoughts: And see if there be any wicked way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting.
Hear my prayer, O Lord, Give ear to my supplications! In Your faithfulness answer me, And in Your righteousness.Hear my prayer, O Lord, give ear to my supplications: in thy faithfulness answer me, and in thy righteousness.
I spread out my hands to You; My soul longs for You like a thirsty land. SelahI stretch forth my hands unto thee: my soul thirsteth after thee, as a thirsty land. Selah.
Cause me to hear Your lovingkindness in the morning, For in You do I trust; Cause me to know the way in which I should walk, For I lift up my soul to You.Cause me to hear thy lovingkindness in the morning; for in thee do I trust: cause me to know the way wherein I should walk; for I lift up my soul unto thee.
Teach me to do Your will, For You are my God; Your Spirit is good. Lead me in the land of uprightness.Teach me to do thy will; for thou art my God: thy spirit is good; lead me into the land of uprightness.
I will extol You, my God, O King; And I will bless Your name forever and ever.I will extol thee, my God, O king; and I will bless thy name for ever and ever.
Great is the Lord, and greatly to be praised; And His greatness is unsearchable.Great is the Lord, and greatly to be praised; and his greatness is unsearchable.
The Lord is righteous in all His ways, Gracious in all His works.The Lord is righteous in all his ways, and holy in all his works.
The Lord is near to all who call upon Him, To all who call upon Him in truth.The Lord is nigh unto all them that call upon him, to all that call upon him in truth.
The Lord opens the eyes of the blind; The Lord raises those who are bowed down; The Lord loves the righteous.The Lord openeth the eyes of the blind: the Lord raiseth them that are bowed down: the Lord loveth the righteous.
The Lord watches over the strangers; He relieves the fatherless and widow; But the way of the wicked He turns upside down.The Lord preserveth the strangers; he relieveth the fatherless and widow: but the way of the wicked he turneth upside down.
He heals the brokenhearted And binds up their wounds.He healeth the broken in heart, and bindeth up their wounds.
For the Lord takes pleasure in His people; He will beautify the humble with salvation.For the Lord taketh pleasure in his people: he will beautify the meek with salvation.
Let everything that has breath praise the Lord. Praise the Lord!Let every thing that hath breath praise the Lord. Praise ye the Lord.
Blessed is the man Who walks not in the counsel of the ungodly, Nor stands in the path of sinners, Nor sits in the seat of the scornful.Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful.
But You, O Lord, are a shield for me, My glory and the One who lifts up my head.But thou, O Lord, art a shield for me; my glory, and the lifter up of mine head.
Salvation belongs to the Lord. Your blessing is upon Your people. SelahSalvation belongeth unto the Lord: thy blessing is upon thy people. Selah.
I will both lie down in peace, and sleep; For You alone, O Lord, make me dwell in safety.I will both lay me down in peace, and sleep: for thou, Lord, only makest me dwell in safety.
My voice You shall hear in the morning, O Lord; In the morning I will direct it to You, And I will look up.My voice shalt thou hear in the morning, O Lord; in the morning will I direct my prayer unto thee, and will look up.
For You, O Lord, will bless the righteous; With favor You will surround him as with a shield.For thou, Lord, wilt bless the righteous; with favour wilt thou compass him as with a shield.
What is man that You are mindful of him, And the son of man that You visit him?What is man, that thou art mindful of him? and the son of man, that thou visitest him?
I will praise You, O Lord, with my whole heart; I will tell of all Your marvelous works.I will praise thee, O Lord, with my whole heart; I will shew forth all thy marvellous works.

I will be glad and rejoice in You; I will sing praise to Your name, O Most High.I will be glad and rejoice in thee: I will sing praise to thy name, O thou most High.
